nope .. centripetal pulls the outer object towards the center which is applied on the potato here .. but the centrifugal force is outwards which is being applied to coconut hence the string pulls it upwards

Yeah! That's centripetal. People often get confused and get this misconception that centrepetal and centrefugal are just inward outward force, but they aren't, they are exactly the same force but in in different frame of reference, as you said pseudo force.
