Thank you very much Sir for taking my question. As u said that PE ratio is determined by Earnings growth & if company posting good earning then PE will be expanded. But as per formula, P/E = (Share price)/EPS. If EPS increased due to good earnings (no corporate actions) then EPS as denominator will be increased and mathematically P/E ratio will be decreased. Did I understand something wrong? OR Are you considering not just the earnings growth but also the share price along with the EPS into account for PE expansion because the share price will rise more in proportion to the EPS growth? Please throw some light on this and explain. Thanks in advance.

Simplistically speaking, since money is the raw material EQUIVALENT for FIs, this will help BajFin to lend more . This should improve top line and hopefully market penetration. In the interim there could be a PE rerating in the markets. However, this will enable Baj Fin to rise from ashes like the fire breathing phoenix and reach new highs in the years to follow. So short term pain for long term growth. However, something tells me you already knew this. if you did then EPS dilution should be welcomed as an option to gather more shares.

Namaate Sir, Preference share capital query: I think ROE of company might be misleading as it only comprises of (paid-up capital + Reserves and Surplus) and don't account for preference share capital. So if that is true, so lower base of equity leads to high ROE of public listed company. Moreover, we don't have data of percentage of existing preference share holders' ownership in a company. I think company also don't publish this data. So we don't have actual ROE data OR *Total* ROE. Imagine if company raises most of its fund using Preference capital (80%) and only get 20% fund using paid-up capital. So in this situation, ROE of company will be much bigger. Your thoughts and explanation on this. Pls throw some light on this. Thanks in advance

Sir please take atleast this question. If a company is good with Financials and ratios and gives good eps year over year. But it's stock price increases in a very short period of time where it's P/E increases from 40-50 to 80. In that case is it advisable to book some Profit or still sit as a NaagRaaj
