I wonder if the game developers recognize the difference between "failure by trial and error" and "failure by bullshit game mechanics, thus resulting in having to look up the correct route THIS EARLY IN THE GAME" (freezing when the boss changes the blocks, attacks, not allowing vincent to actually reach peak drunkness when at the stray sheep, etc, all of which could result in death in the nightmare stages). Trial and error games are fun, this is enfuriating, i've been stuck HERE for a week and it's really starting to piss me off that i can't actually move on even with help

There is never "one correct route" as the way you manipulate the blocks can affect those above and under you. Yes there is trial and error to learn but knowing the tactics and how to manipulate the blocks is how you pretty much solve all puzzles in this game. You also have items (blocks, bells, etc) as well as the ability to move faster (from being drunk) to help out. But those are optional as I am able to figure out my own pathing and solution without using a single item and with default speed (never drunk).

@@themasterll I agree with you! But dayum no items and normal speed on hard is really nerve wrenching. I tried it and got stabbed by katherine so often lol. It's definitely possible tho.

I hate this stage! I memorised the entire run and performed it multiple times but because this bitch climbs at inconsistent speeds, spawns heavy blocks wherever she pleases and stuns you every time she misses an attack, I always managed to get killed or run out of time even if I played perfectly! Did you know there is a section here that may very well fall off without going into the red zone? I speak from experience!!

Man, and I thought myself a pretty hardcore gamer till I popped this sucker in on Hard. There is just no room for error in this game, but watching these videos helps showcase the techniques you have to memorize to play through Hard. Thanks.
