Comin back to this vid 3 years later and yeah this always hits me with Kydd's shit - he changes flow on a dime and it sets him apart from other rappers who are just fast. He understands structure, pacing, flow and also can actually sing when the song needs it. You get similar shit in metal music - sometimes it's heavier when you contrast the loud fast shit with something quiet and slow.
