Saadhak in an interview mentioned that he thinks sentinels are overrated, mentioning how all they provide are ways to hold site and their info gathering is outclassed. Seems like they a bit punished for it, as seen by a few lurks/flanks.

Quite the oversight as sentinel util is very invaluable in post plant on attack. Initiators may be good at active info gathering, but sentinels are much better at passive info gathering. You don’t have to commit people to a flank if there’s a turret or a trip watching. Cypher and Killjoy have so much info gathering util that they’re almost a staple on many teams.
