Kyiv Using 'Ukrainian Storks' For Reconnaissance Over Bakhmut

A Ukrainian reconnaissance unit flies a domestically developed Leleka drone over the city of Bakhmut. The Leleka, which means stork in English, tracks enemy movements in the area. Russia claims its forces have taken full control of Bakhmut, but Ukraine insists it still holds a part of the city.

Waterproofing the drones is easy. I bought a bottle of CorrosionX several years ago to waterproof my Electric remote control planes, drones, helicopters and boats. There are a few electronics that don't need it like BL motors but their speed controllers do need to be kept dry and waterproof. You can apply it to an electric RC plane or drones electronics and then place it completely underwater and it will still function while submerged! (provided it can receive a signal underwater from the Tx) Camera chips as well as barometers found in altimeters are a couple of things I would NOT use it on. You need to reapply as needed on ESCs because the heat generated can cause the corrosionX to evaporate over time. Don't forget to crack open your servos and add some to keep them waterproof too. I really don't mean to try and tell you guys your business, but those pusher prop drones make a lot of noise compared to the same drone set up with twin engines and a tractor (puller) prop configuration. The Russians may not see your drone, but I bet they definitely hear that thing with its noisy pusher propeller. A pusher configuration degrades the possible stealthiness gained by an electric setup. Some are almost as loud as nitro powered planes!

Ukraine has been a technology hub for a while and people forget that Ukraine built shit tons of Russia's equipment but Ukrainian stuff is better. For example the btr-82 is terrible compared to the btr-4, Russia doesn't have any gmrls but Ukraine does they have the vilkha-m. Stugna-p offers many qualitys that the kornet doesn't offer. And the Neptune missile is Ukraine's version of a russian missiles and it way better. I mean it sunk the moskva. Which by the way was built by Ukraine. And if you think I'm talking trash. Take it from someone who has led an army and been on the front lines and knows how the Ukranians fight. The leader of Wagner group pregoshin has stated that he thinks Ukraine is one of the strongest armies in the world. Bakhmut looks like a scene from Stalingrad during WW II. God bless the Ukraine! Improvise, adapt and overcome. The Ukrainian infantry has got it going. I love to see the Ukrainian army in combat using US made weapons, i.e., M-777 155mm howitzers, HIMARS, MLRS and Javelin missiles against the Ruskie army. Warms my heart seeing my taxes well spent. And now Patriot missiles, Switchblades and JDAM's. We used LGB (laser guided bombs), the father of JDAM's back in Vietnam in 1972. I know I was there. I helped build the tail fin assemblies for the Mark III 750 pounders that we used, Marine All Weather Attack Squadron 224 which was an A-6A-B, KA-6D tanker and EA-6B Prowler squadron. JDAM's made dumb iron bombs steerable with either laser guided or now, GPS guided avionics for the munitions. The Ukrainians have gotten pretty good at using quad & octi-copters not only for instant intelligence (eyes in the sky) but for munitions delivery and artillery fire support. Why would a Ruskie tanker ride around or park his tank with the hatch open??? If your hatch is open you should not be in the tank because your tank has a flaw in its design. You're sitting on a pile of explosives. But then we are not dealing with professionals here. Of course, psychological warfare is also in play here as the Ruskie army either surrenders or dies in battle, not for his country but for Poot'en. The brilliant plan of "I Want To Live" implemented into the Ukrainian military has helped as well. Of course this is a proxy war between the free world and the Ruskie tyrant Czar Poot'en's attempt to reestablish the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republic with help from China on the down low. Now Poot'en is trying to empty the prisons in Russia and extinguish all the overproduced Soviet era relics to make room for the latest, fastest and best of all war machines. He's already failed in Chechnya and Georgia despite setting up a puppet in Belarus. We are thankful for neighboring countries, Poland and all the small countries. Despite Germany and France helping the Ukraine in its fight for freedom against Russian tyranny, Germany recently closed a nuclear reactor and according to Merkel, Germany will revert to fossil fuel which they will get from Russia. France is also dependent upon Russia for its nuclear fuel. So I wouldn't be surprised to see less German and French made munitions. But thanks to these nations for what they are doing to help Ukraine's fight against tyranny as well as England for all their contributions to the war effort.
