It was hard to see who was who on vault but it was so obvious by Mckayla's block compared to Kyla's! I love them both!!!!! This is so awesome, to see them when they were young!

Knowing what we know now it's so painful to watch this. So adorable, so so talented and robbed of the future they should've had. Without preditors waiting in the wings as their reward for working so hard. I look forward to the day when he stands before our Lord to give account of how he treated our little girls. Kyla is more consistently solid across the disciplines but McKayla is a rocket, full of power, better lines, and a more graceful dancer, and all that power and grace really shine on vault and floor.

I don't really know a lot about gymnastics, just fascinated watching it, but some of the stuff they do on uneven bars here, looks way more difficult than what they do now, like 7:27-7:31 !

She has always been better than McKayla all around, McKayla is just the best at vault. If you have ever looked at how Mckayla performs in other events she isn't amazing like she is in vault.

She changed gyms because Kyla was on the national team and he was always going on international assignments with Kyla and Mckayla was not on National team so she didnt go to those int. things, so he never had time to be there for MM

It must suck for Gym-Max to have lost McKayla. They knew early on they had an amazing vaulter on their hands and then she went on to be World Champion and silver medalist at the Olympics..

The coaches were traveling with Kyla on all of these international assignments and so McKayla wasn't getting the coaching she needed. I also think there was some favoritism since Kyla was one of the top juniors in the country (she won nationals when she was only 12) and McKayla didn't have as good of a year (27th at nationals).

Almost Same acrobatic program on floor for Kyla Ross ( Arabian , full in and double tuck ) in this competition in 2008 and in 2012 at the olympic. This girl had an amazing talent and beautiful lines but became so boring to watch after the olympic. The coaches seems play too safe in her career.
