Good job Kyle Brian I have heard this song many times. Very good amazing song. Tribute to WWII Ranger Roy Hurereque. I’m attend zoom meetings with the best defense foundation and he was their recent zoom interview. Thank you!!! I appreciate that a lot. I'm using a 16 mic set up for this one. Kick Out - Beta 52 Kick In - 57 Snare Top - Beta 56 Snare Bottom - 57 Roto - 57 Toms - 421 (x5) OHs - 414 (x2) Rooms - Blue Baby Bottles (x2) Hi hat and Ride - SM81 (x2) Pushing 10 years of mixing my kit so I'm able to get it pretty dialed now hahaha. No triggers or sample replacement or anything. Just lots of patience

@@KyleBrianAbbott Totally understand and appreciate the OG recording system; I'm of the same mind - I've been using only 4 mics on my set up and stock plugins with Reaper, no samples or triggers. It's a bit of a challenge to get quality sounds across the whole kit, but a fun experiment to see where I can push the limits. Thanks for the reply, looking forward to more vids!
