Never mix business and friendship. Kyle should know better. You can't be a friend and a boss to someone at the same time. Does not mix. Carl should have been fired from his job a long time ago. Would have woken him up. Instead, Kyle gave him chance after chance. Enabling does not help Carl.

@HR no he didn't Carl already spoke about his drug and alcohol use in past seasons. Kyle wasn't making a dig at him he was making a point and a valid one at that when Carl hit rock bottom Kyle was the one who took a chance on him cause of there friendship and entrusted him with his company cause he believed in him so to suddenly say he feels underappreciated with no previous conversations is a slap in the face and then to be neglecting your job and team for months is another slap in the face they aren't just "colleagues" they were best buds for Carl to make it seem like Lindsay is the only one who has his back is another slap in the face when he said himself a few seasons back that when he was in a dark place and wanted to harm himself Kyle was the one who had his back and got him out of that headspace. Carl was sober last season but was still good fun the difference between last year and this year is Lindsay's boundaries for him and his relationship dynamics with his friends

@@mzzthang3912 Carl had a bump with their work life and turned things around since then. We’re talking about over 2 years ago. Lindsay was also there for him during that time. He’s decided to limit his interactions with alcohol because it’s not healthy for him and thus wanting to cut ties with working there. Why is that bad thing? Lindsay, in her support for Carl supported Kyle’s brand by also promoting it. Kyle sounds super entitled.

Kyle has always acted like a 13yr old girl, literally since day 1 of summer house. I have tried over the years to like Kyle, but he always acts like a douche every chance he gets and spoils whatever likability he has. This stuff with Carl an lindsay now is the last straw. How could you ever talk about your long time friends like this? Omg, it's just so disgusting on his part! All I can take from it is complete jealousy an envy on his part, I guess? For how many seasons Lindsay would get activated and lose her sh*t just cause she's supposedly changed for the "better" doesn't mean everyone thinks so and so far 2 episodes in and I think she is in his ear controlling him and his dynamics with ppl and using the excuse of being his gf and his sobriety as the reason but there is a tone and way in which she can go about things. I don't get what viewers aren't seeing Carl was sober last season and still was good fun and hard working so what suddenly changed other than his relationship. Also, Carl is acting like Lindsay is the only one who has his back but he literally said 2 reunions ago that he almost did something to himself and it was Kyle who was saved him there relationship is deep he was the best man and officiant at his wedding if he had concerns with work communicate it but you don't neglect your job that helped you at a time when you didn't have any opportunities knocking on ur door that's not how you treat your friend who had your back when it's his company that is being affected
