I had a rooster that looked exactly like this & acted exactly like this. What I started doing was running after him when he would try to attack me then I would scoop him up & carry him around like a football so he knew who was boss. He stopped attacking me & followed me everywhere like a puppy dog. They are funny critters! Unfortunately, he flew out of his fence & flogged my German Shepherd then that was the end of his life ☹

My grandma had a rooster just like this once, except it was even bigger, everyone was scared of it except her, and it just hated everyone including her, but she just ignored it until one day it attacked my uncle, (who was 2 years old at the time) he was just playing in the yard when all of a sudden it showed up jumped on him and started stabbing its talons into his head repeatedly, blood just started gushing, he screamed and my grandma came running she yanked the rooster off of him and rung its neck right then and there and cooked it for dinner.

My rooster Calcifer does the same. He attacks me even when feeding the hens. As harsh as it sounds, you have to show him who the alpha is. Snatch him up and hold him tight. Clamp his beak and throw him up in the air. It’s either that or kick him gently like a football. I like to actually cockfight with him using my boot. I feel like it trains him to protect his girls from predators. Makes him fearless. But the result is what you are getting. My guess? You love it. This video is just for entertainment value 😉🐓

I had to kick mine a few times and make some “arch” shape so that they would leave me alone. They’re vicious and they hurt when they attack. Also, for those of you out there no it’s not “abuse” if I have to defend myself for all you guys out there, just so we’re on the same page. I know it might not be the best tactic but it’s the only way to knock some sense into one of the roosters that will run at you when you’re trying to walk past them
