I think it's more to show that this person is just being an edgy "middle school communist" who doesn't understand the deeper political theory and is currently just raging against the status quo. I've known some people like this in high school, who were also emo and thought themselves leftists, but were just reformists liberals or social democrats who used communist because it's cool and shocking.
