I’ve never seen someone make that many spin moves and finish with a hook shot using either hand, plus he is a deadly catch and shoot player. Magic may have drafted a potential Magic Johnson (Ball), Kobe Bryant (Kuzma), and a Derek Fisher (Josh Hart) in a single draft. Yeah I know it’s an over exaggeration but you can’t deny the similarities.

No exaggeration, that is a very accurate visual in my head right now. These kids are gonna be something to see in a couple years. As for potential, there really isnt a ceiling, Lakers development team and organization have to be tireless and innovative.

Kuz is a great scorer but if you didn't know Zo leads the team in rebounds, assist, blocks, and steals. His role on the Lakers is more important than just scoring. There are tons of scorers in this league but very few players who can impact the game all around. And let's not forget Zo is 20 and Kuz 22. So we need to see what Zo is like at 22.

Everybody needs to stop worshipping tatum like they know he’s gonna be a god.. he isn’t even close to kuzma’s level 1) kuzma is averaging 16 while tatum is averaging 13 and tatum probably only had like two 20 plus point games. 2) tatum is playing alongside a superstar in kyrie irving which is more than enough help and he gets easier shots based on that, while kuzma creates about 80% of his shots. - people need to wake up and realize the lakers murdered the draft this year. 3) tatum IS NOT better than lonzo, he may be a better scorer just like everyone who went top 10 but they are not the better players. With that being said kuzma, ball are going to be problems. Ingram’s has a good skill set but his awareness isn’t too good and i think thats the only thing holding him back

Ingram benefits a lot by playing with Lonzo. He doesn't have to run plays too much like these few games with Lonzo out and can just worry about scoring and making the occasional pass.

Kuz!!!! I really like his chemistry with Nance Jr. When Kuzma drives, he attracts weakside help where Nance can get the ball, especially with Kuzma’s behind the back. The big men were getting points tonight. I felt Lopez had a good start, until he realized Nance and Kuzma are getting it down!

Them playing this good without Lonzo is huge. Before without Lonzo they had no life. It was the only point of the season where i didn't even bother to watch the game because of how bad they looked without him. But swapping Lonzo in this situation, I'm very hopeful. If Jordan Clarkson can keep this level at least most of this level of play then we can contend for that 8th seed. Also if kuzma is now out of his slump that'd help a lot too.

@lakerswillrise7879
@lakerswillrise7879 6 жыл бұрын
Kuz is more like Lamar Odom now not Kobe. Kobe was one of the top defensive players. Kuz has not go there yet. Kobe played both sides of the floor. Right now, Zo leads the Lakers in rebounds, blocks, steals, and assist.
@linhe6729
@linhe6729 6 жыл бұрын
Kuz has solid fundamentals and a variety of offensive skills. He's also athletic enough to play good defense and if he puts effort on d, he'll get there.
@lakerswillrise7879
@lakerswillrise7879 6 жыл бұрын
Kuz has great offensive games but what Luke criticized him for is not producing in other areas when his shot was not falling a few days back. Zo is a better defensive player as he leads the Lakers in blocks and steals. Kuz was sitting on the bench because of his inability to guard forwards. Yes he can score but his defense has been suspect. Now I think he is improving in that area but Zo at 20 has him beat there. Also I think Zo is more athletic if you've seen some of his dunks on the alley oop and that tomahawk dunk on Hornets. My concern with Zo now is he injury prone or is it just the fact of these young players coming out too soon and playing too many minutes. Zo got injured playing 43 minutes in his last game.

Kuz is not as athletic as Kobe. He reminds me more of a Lamar Odom. Go watch Lamar score.

Lee dude stf.....both are very good players....Kuzma is scorer, Lonzo is pure point guard that does everything.....lonzo has been getting alot better each game and was running the team very before his injury. The lakers have a bright future...just let them grow together and a high quality free agen.....I'd prefer demarcus cousins bc he fits this team better than those other free agents...lonzo would love cousins in this team ......lonzo would definitely be averaging more than 10 assists with him on the floor
@Death-jl1cv
@Death-jl1cv 6 жыл бұрын
Albert Albert Kuzma's personality & ability is built more like a leader & a potential star, you talking like I want Lonzo traded or something lol It's clear since day one Kuzma is more than just a supporting cast, and I think Lonzo can be a really great 2nd option. I'm talking about right now, why wait for a free agent when you already have a potential superstar (Kuzma) sitting right there? like, damn how many great games he needs to prove to yall? If Lonzo is the next Jason Kidd, Then Kuzma is the next Kobe, and he has games to back it up too.
@lakerswillrise7879
@lakerswillrise7879 6 жыл бұрын
Kuz and Zo have different roles on the team. When Magic drafted Zo it was for 1 purpose to get his teammates involved. Zo has done his role and more as he leads the team, not only in assist, but rebounds, blocks, and steals as a rookie point guard, not a forward or center. Zo has had games of 13 assist with NO stars, 16 rebounds (weighing 195), has had 3 games of 5 steals each, 2 games of 4 blocks. Kuz has not done that yet. Yes Kuz is a great scorer but there is more to the game.
@lakerswillrise7879
@lakerswillrise7879 6 жыл бұрын
Kuz sits the bench because of his DEFENSE. Also Luke wants him to pass more when his shot is not falling. Zo is the leader as his role is entirely different which is why he leads the Lakers in rebounds, assist, steals, and blocks. Basketball is more than just scoring. There are a lot of great scorers but few all around players who have high iq, that's Zo. Let's not forget Zo is 20 and Kuz 22. Let's talk to you when Zo is 22.
