Absolutely got to be one of Kyle Larson biggest FAN!!!! Absolutely love to watch this guy wheel a racecar!!!! You talk about TALENT!!!!!!!
@angeljohnson49703 жыл бұрын
Watched it on Flo Racing. Amazing ! For those who don't know, or race, Tazewell is a BEAST !!!!! Might be the best and hardest dirt tracks in the country. Steepest banked 3/8 mile out there. Clay. The first time Larson ever seen the track , or drive it was when he came out for hot laps. His group got four laps. Next time he comes out is to qualify. He goes quick time. Then finishes second to the 49. ( again,,,,,Bristol ) Congrats to Davenport. Great run. Larson's talent is undeniable. Rumley builds one hell of a car too ! Salute.

You said it absolutely perfect! Kyle is one of the most talented drivers I've ever seen. Even with limited seat time in a Suoer Late he runs with the best of them

Thanks for posting this. it was great seeing @KyleLarsonRacin at @Tazspeedway TN and that he got a got a good finish and he liked it and he mentioned he would like to race there again some day. I wish you could've posted the whole thing esp his interview for us to watch anytime and can't pay @FloRacing @DirtonDirt during off seasons especially if your videos are ever seen by past/present Nascar people who likes dirt track racing it would be nice if they would see it and want to visit Tazewell Speedway some day even if not to race.

I was out at this race and he is an artist behind the wheel. Just couldn’t get on pace with Davenport. That man is a rocket.

Pure talent , as a racer myself I’m still amazed at Larson’s throttle control not to spin the wheels , and he’s smooth with the wheel , and on a track like this it’s hard to be that consistently smooth, cautions hurt him and on that restart erb found the brown down low and got that drive on him, nevertheless a superior job by Larson considering his amount of time in a late model , pure 100% talent !
@bfhammer1283 жыл бұрын
I completely agree! That boy can drive the wheels off of anything! Just imagine if he had more dirt late model experience
@Fuelrunner46.3 жыл бұрын
Agreed on go pedal smooth! Very calm driver. Never seems to put the car in a poor position.

Crazy he ran there I raced at that track for several years so awesome love that place

So reminds me of Ken Schraeder or Tony Stewart when they were young taking time to run a dirt race at a random track somewhere! Yeah Kyle Larson is one of those that just loves racing!

Larson is probably the best all around driver on dirt right now, but he's in a Rumley prepared car and I got a good feeling he's probably got the rumored updated and legal-for-now version of "the device" on his rear suspension helping him out, same with Davenport.
@MrChill1563 жыл бұрын
What “device” are you talking about?
@zachpeterson45193 жыл бұрын
@@MrChill156 Just known as "The Device", it's a LR suspension component invented in the 80s by CJ Rayburn originally, but taken and improved/updated for modern cars by Kevin Rumley. Davenport used it in 2015 and it destroyed the competition, but was promptly banned in I think 16 or 17. There's rumor going around now that he's made a new one to circumvent the banned part. Here's some links on the limited info regarding the 2015 Device. He doesn't like talking about it for obvious reasons. racingnews.co/2018/07/08/completed-change-author-update-win-count-kevin-rumley/ racestud.com/forums/topic/61008-late-model-shock-use-questionrumley-device-and-braking-shock/

@@zachpeterson4519 Thanks brother. I race 600 micros so I’m quite curious about this. It has to be something that transfers weight to the left rear for off corner drive.
@zachpeterson45193 жыл бұрын
@@MrChill156 Exactly, something to keep it on the bars and maximize rear aero via weight distribution.

If you can drive a non wing sprint car you can drive anything. Hewitt, Stewart, and Larson are great examples. You dont see late model guys jumping in sprints...

And that's something Davenport could NEVER do! He might beat Larson in Late Model but bcuz this is all he races! Larson has won in everything he's climbed into. The talent he has is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL and his resume can back it up!

This kid is the best talent in the world , if he followed Lucas or WoO he would win titles and a lot of big money races, him coming from dirt made me a fan of his from the start, and now he’s with Hendrick it’s only a matter of time he’ll dominate like Gordon and Johnson , absolutely love to watch him race
