Just think what Larson did fir dirt track racing this year. They couldn't buy that type of public exposure. Larson earned all of his wins. The one thing that separates Kyle grom other drivers is he has a strategy and the willingness to constantly race the track, the track

A.J. Foyt, Mario, the Unsers, and other legends 50 years ago all ran dirt, stock cars, Sprint cars, Indy, Daytona, all the time. Larson is just doing what those guys did, racing for a living, every chance he gets. We are blessed to see him perform. He may be the last who can do it, and the last who is willing to do it.

I don’t feel it’s any embarrassment to anyone, Larson is just a damn good race car driver, he knows what he’s feeling in the car and what he needs to be better, it’s not an easy thing to do,it takes a lot of laps to truly know what your feeling and how the car is reacting, if anything it’s a good thing for the late model guys, anytime you get spanked by an “ outsider” it makes you really think and have more desire, Larson is one of a kind, like Earnhardt in his early days. Plus anytime you can get in a Rumley owned car you are getting in top notch equipment with a crew car/ car owner that’s second to none.

Great video of the night KYLE LARSON made history in only his 3rd time in a Late Model! I've watched this video months ago and had to watch it again! The KID has so much TALENT and nobody could ever argue that. Everything he's driven to compete in he's won! 2020 was an awesome year on dirt for KYLE where he won just over half the races he entered and to know he does this for fun show's you that racing is his PASSION! We were lucky enough to be there for this event and when he came off turn 4 to take the checkered flag the place went BALLISTIC! It's like nothing I've ever witnessed and my wife was so happy she cried! What a kind, humble and all around nice guy and he stood around in the pits for autographs and pictures til the last person went through! 150% CLASS ACT! #LIFEONTHECUSHION

HE is truly a generational talent like Steve Kinser and Sammy were. Dont forget Sammy drove the Indy 500 and Kinser played around a bit on asphalt. Race car drivers who truly love to race are happy to drive anything with wheels.Look how versatile Tony Stewart was winged, non wing Late models, Indy,cup.
@cmoore1853 жыл бұрын
Sammy never ran the 500. He drove at a frew Indy car races though. The year he almost made the 500, he was the last car to get bumped and it was by Rich Vogler. He was driving the Machinist's Union car with a stock blocj chevy. I was there.

NASCAR has taken the excitement out of racing imo... It all started way back when they (NASCAR) said: No racing back to yellow flag, lucky dog get lap back, pit road speed and the one I hate the most, completion caution. Is racing safer with these rules, hell yes, but danger leads to excitement. That's my two cents, whats yours...

Sorry but I don’t buy into the hype. The guy clearly has way more horsepower than anyone out there. Watch in this video how fast he pulls away at the end of the back straightaway. Only NASCAR quality HP does that. Same goes for Friesen. Thanks for posting the vid guys, nice work.

@zuel6603 жыл бұрын
Well, I hate to break it to you, Paul, but Larson definitely does not have way more horsepower than anyone else there. This is the Lucas Oil Late Model series he's running against, whom are some of the very best in the business. Also, it's a slick track, so huge HP isn't an advantage, and this was only his second night in a dirt late model, which is a vastly different car than anything else he's driven. 2nd place here, Brandon Sheppard, has 19 wins this year. Larson simply did an amazing job here.
