Kevin Harvick - I think the reason Kyle Larson did not burn it down close to S/F line was due to instruction from Nascar. Drivers were told not to do burnout on the bricks so i assume Kyle did not want to burn it down close to the bricks.

Kyle Bush is really frustrated about having to drive a slow car. He's never really done that before. Those cars are not top tier cars out of RCR. He's handling it much better than I thought he would. I actually feel bad for the guy. He's a tier one driver in a mediocre car.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. Oscar Piastri was leading that race by a very long way when his team gave his teammate an undercut which is an unfair advantage twice, that double undercut put his teammate ahead of him and they told Oscar they were only doing that to get Lando away from Hamilton and that they would give Oscar back the position, which he had rightly earned throughout the whole race by being faster and driving away from Lando. In the final stage, Oscar was told to conserve his tyres because they were going to get a swap soon, but ignored team orders and drove away and made a full of himself. He eventually did the right thing and let Oscar back past, but it completely ruined Oscar’s first win and I blame McLaren 100% for that stupid team orders in giving the double undercut to the guy who was second.usually teams give the first pitstop to the guy who is in front.

There is nothing wrong with the granddaddy of all racing speedways. If there is a problem with the quality of the racing, it is with the cars themselves. If you want less gas saving strategy racing, make the tires wear out faster than the gas in the tanks. As for when a yellow flag drops, it should be in time to avoid a safety issue, when cars are approaching the scene of an accident. On short tracks, that's almost immediately. After a long time since a restart, that's almost immediately because the cars are strung out all over the track. But after a restart on a huge track, it could be minutes before the pack of cars approach the scene of the accident. As on last Sunday on the next to last lap. What's important, the yellow flag did drop in time for the approaching cars to slow down for safety. How foolish would Nascar look if they had dropped the yellow flag and the wrecked car got underway and reached the pits? Blaney had a choice to start adjacent to Kelowski or behind him before Larsen had his choice at the marker. He chose the outside lane. If he had chose the inside lane behind Kelowski he would have been in the inside lane instead of the outside lane when he ran out of gas, where Larsen probably would have chosen instead of being third in the inside lane. My point is, he could have gambled like Larsen did if he thought Kelowiski would run out of gas, and he had the choice first.

7:34 I disagree about pulling Xfinity from IMS. I commented somewhere else that doing that would be like giving a baby a few licks of a lollypop then taking it away. Everybody talks about the prestigiousness of racing at the Brickyard. Their driver's are just as honored as the Cup drivers and y'all want to take that away from them ??? Why not say the same thing about Daytona? Everybody knows winning the Daytona 300 or the Daytona 250 for that matter are not as important or exciting as the Daytona 500. C'mon y'all. 🤷🏻‍♀🤦🏻‍♀

For Hocevar he would be third one in going into the corner. Didn't think three wide was doable at Indy in the corner. He has to think ahead. Either he or someone else was not going to make the corner. So not his fault but he had control to avoid the incident.

Blaney calling Larson "Golden Boy" is very insulting. Does Blaney not know Larson passed like 200 cars...AT INDY? That's not someone being lucky. That's ALL skill. If I were Larson, I'd be very offended. Blaney was fast for sure but Larson was by far the best car at Indy. Blaney never had a chance once Larson made it to the front row. Blaney was the "Golden Boy" in this race. He was lucky he survived several wrecks if we're being honest.

Never been a driver like Larson who consistently wins in so many series, at least since I’ve been watching. Would have liked a Blaney win, but think Larson had it no matter how they restarted. He had the tires and could run full out.

G'day from Newcastle NSW Australia, why doesn't NASCAR have a category called NASCAR elite with 950 horsepower cars driven by veterans of NASCAR with more than five year's experience. Same looking cars and teams just more power. Still keep the Cup category as is. And NASCAR should watch how Indy does their restarts, it's neat and tidy. What happened with Kyle B and Corey L, well that was ugly and messy. Have a great day. Just sharing my opinion. This is a great show with comedy. 🇺🇲🇦🇺👍

@@erickrebs2407 okay what about fines for teams who run out of fuel in front of the field on the restart and crash half the field. It’s the same thing as if the wheel comes on track it’s a safety issue right. That would have prevented what happened at Nashville and nobody liked that except the 22.
