I’ve messaged you on Instagram before saying this but I’m cabin crew and I’m in the US half of my month, I have American relatives who are in Florida. So I’ve got quite a lot of ties there, for me as a Brit it’s just unfathomable the love for guns and the need for them. Personally I have two mutuals in America who have been shot, one was an English family friend (26 years old) who was visiting his family, he was killed in crossfire when someone shot their gun at a petrol station. The other was my cousins brother in law who was repossessing a car (doing his job) and the owner of the car shot him in the chest and the head. He miraculously survived after lots of surgery and rehab. When I’m just walking around, at the cinema or in the mall I actively think about how to exit quickly. Whereas in the UK those thoughts never cross my mind.. it’s just crazy 🤯 Anyway I went on a tangent there, I really feel your upset about life over there compared to here. I don’t have children so couldn’t even begin to comprehend those thoughts and worries. Loved the insight in this video of Kyle though, I think it’s amazing you’re on the same wavelength with guns etc though ❤ Can’t wait for you to move back here, I just know it’ll do your family a world of good xx

Omg I am so sorry you have had that happen! Sadly Florida is going through a lot right now, but many of them want it, so 🤷🏼‍♀️ not for us at all. I just want me children to be able to live a life of no fear. I also look for exists everywhere I go and I have to hold them close to me when we shop. Things I never do at home. The uk isn’t perfect but at least we are safe and we will work the rest out later.

Looks like a wonderful trip! Our Vermont trip was with a 3 year old getting over an ear infection. Ben and Jerry's was the sight of a historic toddler meltdown... we didn't even get to get ice cream! I'm think we need to give it another try!

Unfortunately here in the USA we have serious trust issues with our Federal government since it was formed almost 250 years ago. Until there is no longer fear of Congress abusing its constitutional power there will always be guns. “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” I hope I live to see the day of serious gun reform take place.
