I might try a glitter gel polish over a thin clear acrylic for color instead of colored acrylic. Then cover it with clear acrylic.

I'm a new sub, I have been fascinated with the 3D -5D French nail Design , & I love the technique you are doing here! It should save some time doing it this way, therefore saving money as well!! I have watched some of Naikurs videos to see how she does it, and almost looks like in one video, she uses hard gel , & builder gel in between? I would think that would be messy & not as accurate , but I can't tell as it is in a fast sped up more? Hmm ? I absolutely love your work , & look forward to seeing more of your awesome designs! ❤️

I tried this on a friend and it was the appointment of hell. Everything went wrong and in the end it took way way too long( like hours) I was so stupid that I did not check if the gel polish had cured properly(it usually does)... so when I went on to filing, it all split and fell off, so I had to start over with those fingers. It was the worst nail day ever. Yesterday I tried with acrylic and I could not get the proper result. Today I am trying on my own nails and pray that it will work.
