I was at the U.S. Amateur and got to walk Hazeltine right down the fairways with the competitors. I can truly say first hand that Hazeltine is a brute. Kyle, your 74 was very, very impressive from the distance you were playing it at. Great video!

I've liked every one of your videos, especially after reminding me. It's something I do naturally now, but sometimes it's nice to get the reminder so I don't forget to do it. You're not a huge creator yet but I hope you get there some day because your content is sensational. And I'm writing this comment in the hopes that you see it, and I want to tell you these 18 hole playthroughs that you bring us are some of my absolute favorite content on KZbin, so I really hope, as you mentioned, that it keeps you motivated and inspired in bringing us this great content. With love, from Denmark ;D

Kyle's talent is so unique. What Kyle could have done in such tough rough is to club up. I play in typical rough most times. Some club pro taught me one time to never use a 60 deg wedge around such greens but to either use my 54 or 50 wedge instead. Really enjoyed this video and looking forward already to the next one coming in the near future.
@krish1281Ай бұрын
Fun to watch Kyle. MN resident, have played Hazeltine multiple times. Spot on in your assessment. It's the rough and short game scenarios there that make it SO hard. Course is amazing, but pretty unassuming. Doubles and Triples happen w/o notice leaving us golfers scratching our heads as to what happened.

Awesome to hear you're making a run at traditional stroke play tournament golf. Would be really interesting to tell us what kind of adjustments you've had to make in your game. It always seems like wedges would be hard to control with your speed but they seem to keep getting better.

I’m friends with a guy who works at Hazeltine and he has told me about the painstaking time and efforts put into the greens. I don’t know what it is called but it’s a device that you use to test green speed where you drop a ball in from the top and it rolls out. He told me that they use those every single day and from a foot drop the ball rolls out 16 feet. So the greens are extremely fast typically so playing with the slower greens definitely could’ve provided a significant advantage. Just wanted to share that, great golf I think I would shoot 160 😂

I live in Chaska and have been luckily enough to play in a member/guest at this course. It is mentally difficult and you can find yourself in scenarios that you would think are easy that leave yourself in trouble. My claim to fame is that my ball got used for every shot on hole 7 for eagle!

i enjoy 18 hole videos because its more relaxing and gives an overall better viewing experience. i know that you as a content creator it makes it more busy work to give us 18 versus splitting everything you do in half. i dont think it's really a 9v18 hole question, more about the frequency of posting 18 holes we'd like. there's gotta be give and take between audience vs creator. that's what makes it enjoyable for both ends. keep up the good work man.
@baccaratnaturalАй бұрын
You played well for talking bout swing thoughts on course. Usually if people start talking about being in the slot while playing, they are going to shoot above 100. Well done.

you're putting has improved immensely. The drives are great as usual just need to hit more greens in regulation. Good score for only one par five Birdy.

The claw grip makes sense. I putt okay but may give it a go. Also ever thought of opening stance with the full swings with the wedges? I feel like it takes out swing variables and raises consistency.

Good stuff man. My usual go-to for golf is "Tubes and Ange - Golf Life" but your content really fills in the gaps. Would love to see more videos like this. If you got a microphone instead over narrating over the video that would definitely be more engaging. Keep it up.

@daveys9575Ай бұрын
Noticed that on short game shots, you step in after practice shots, whereas on full shots, you take the time to align the clubface first, and then build stance around it, before immediately firing Might build more consistency in short game by following your similar routine on shorter shots - something Im working on myself! Great vid, Kyle!

Hazeltine is a special place. 8 is most accessible with a cut off the bunkers, but a headwind brings lake into play. You’re right, if the wind is howling, this hole is tough.

Why the PGA Tour? Would it not make more sense to go to Liv? If I was in your position I'd get in touch with Bryson and see if he can fast track you onto Liv. The CEO is at least open to innovation. Having the World Long Drive Champion on Liv would have to be a win.

@kyleberkshire3371 Love the content! 18 holes is amazing. The way you break down thought and how you're hitting it is an incredible insight into a great players mind. Thank you! Random question. When you want to hit it "longer" on the course do you have a swing thought? Turn the shoulders more or focus on hitting it solid, etc? I always struggle when I want to hit it harder with making solid contact or if I do focus on hitting it solid, the ball not going any further. Any advice would be appreciated

Did you try and re-create Tiger Woods’s three iron shot from the left side of the left bunker on hole # 9, but it was playing the 18th hole at the 2002 PGA championship. Tiger said that was his best shot ever partially because he’d never hit a shot that felt so good. My guess is it felt like nothing because it was just dead sweet spot. Somewhere on KZbin you can find him talking about that shot being his best.
@peteborchers243Ай бұрын
