14 years ago, when I was 16~, I told my mom I wanted to get a persian cat someday. I went to my dad’s home (another state) for the holidays the following year, my mom called me and said “surprise, when you come back, you’ll meet your new cat”. I kept thinking about a good name for the cat all over the weekend and when I finally came back home, my mom was holding the cat and told me “Hey there! Say hi to Fiona”. I told her “what? Why did you give her that name”, and my mom replied “Oh, I just saw this great movie last night, Shrek, and the princess was called Fiona, so I gave her this cute name”. Here I am, 14 years later, with Fiona by my feet, and the shadow of Shrek forever haunts me. Just wanted to share this Shrek fact.

Personally love the segment. Definitely should bring it back in further episodes. Mortal Kombat is a favorite series of mine and yeah, it is definitely a mess but it is just so shlocky and fun it keeps me coming back even when I think its reached an all time low (MK4).
