@smoothjb2384 My best advice is if you really want to do parlays, don't do more than 4 in one. Optimal is 3. Just cause it is fun to take the 4000 odd bets, don't you are just giving them money. Take 3 odds like -200, -300, and -400 and combine them. The payout isn't great, but you have a better chance at winning.

I do 2-4 leg parlays with odds around -500 each. You'll consistently make around 25%-50% returns. Out of 10 of these bets I usually hit about 7 or 8 of them. Usually I pick really low over/unders or really wide spreads. Do this with $50 on various $5 bets and I'd say there's about a 80% chance you'll come out on top. I do this to slowly up my bank roll. Making $2.50 on $5 would take about 5 years in the stock market. You can do this consistently by picking ridiculous alternate bets in 2-4 leg parlays. Even if you hit 55% of your bets, you're in the plus at the end of the day.

I’m newish to sports betting as a thing I do daily, but as a former poker player for income I totally cosign your comment on it not being exciting. A great book I read is The Psychology of Poker, and it gets into being honest with yourself as to why you’re playing. Most people aren’t playing to win money, they’re playing for the rush, blowing off steam, or just having fun… if you’re not playing to win money, being honest with yourself allows you to protect yourself from losing money you can’t afford to lose.

i just started betting martingale betting with each inning 0 runs. for example bet $25 1st inning no runs. if it loses $50 on 2nd inning 0 runs. i got lucky last weekend. i bet $250 under one of the inning and lost so i bet st louis 4th inning 0 runs for 1k and won. the very next inning st loius hit a 2 run home run. so there is alot ofluck involved with inning totals

Live by 100 to 200 200 to 400 400 to 800 ext... after 2 double ups pull the the initial. I always stop at a certain amount. Even if I bet 4k on a game at worse in my hear I broke Even. The problem with the Martingale system is that eventually you will have an unlucky streak where you will lose say ten times in a row and get wiped out, its like if you toss a coin thousands of times eventually you will get heads ten times in a row, you cannot keep doubling your bets unless you have a bank roll of hundreds of thousands
