Ngl, wasn't expecting to see you review Illenium here, but also not surprised because he has a recent history of working with rock/metal bands. He sampled Bring Me The Horizon on drwn (but it's far more a softer edm only song), had a feature from Thirty Seconds to Mars on his last album, and a few years ago he an Excision featured I Prevail. It's actually funny you mentioned "there's Illenium" when you did, since the soft intro guitar is MUCH closer to his classic sound than that drop is lol. But if EDM x Metal/Rock is what you want, then Sullivan King is absolutely who you're looking for. Just released an album, Thrones of Blood, of which the title track or Watch The Crown Fall are probably the most "metal" to my ears, but all of his stuff is good.
