They’re more vibrant because they are based on the Manga Colors. As Kishimoto himself made this. Hence why Kakashi has a different outift. The anime was simply wrong in how he was supposed to look.

The original minato was the forth release in the line. And I HATED how short he was and how he wasn’t Sakura because I just wanted team 7 finished immediately. Everything about it though was good but just…how weird to completely just do a brand new sculpt instead of just building off of kakashi to begin with. Either way, this new minato is incredible

I agree with you on Top99 thing. When they make Top99 figures they only intend to focus on the 99picture look. That’s why 99 Naruto even though it’s face was better than main line original realese, only came with limited face expressions that will more accouret to picture and there was no rasengan or other kind of effects. And you know if they make those figures first, you will wait longer for main line version (More anime accourute version with probably better face plates, accessories and effects) But 99 line has a plus side. We will eventually get shisui or sakumo Hatake thanks to this line and Kurama. Others will eventually came to the main line but in 99 line you can get some great accessories only you can see in the picture for those figures and can get some rare figures like I mentioned earlier. Let’s be honest, Shisui popular and all but he wasn’t in the show that much so maybe we would get him in the main line later down the line but I just don’t see that possibility happening that much and Sokumo wasn’t even existing in the story except some flashback. We didn’t even see him in action once. We would never gets his figure in the main line. As for Kurama, that would eventually happen but top 99 might make it faster.

I think for me it’s all about what’s included to decide whether I would pick up a Narutop 99 ver or wait for a shippuden release, (the different colours don’t bother me), like minato basically comes with everything I would want from a normal minato figure and the accessories are pretty cool, itachi has his cloth cloak and a sword with very little variation in the faces, (like the og itachi had a way better selection), so in that case I would wait for a shippudden release with better accessories

whats the difference between top99 and the standard release? ive only started collecting about a fortnight ago

Top 99 is based on Manga colors plus accessories related to the top 99 event, for example minato with a rasengan with a 99 in it, Naruto with a top99 banner and Sakura with a battle axe. Standard is anime colors, with accessories you’d expect them to have
