great video! Personally my favourite retros this year are Herc and Roma from ZST. I really like the fact there are so many options, agree that there are some good people who need retros!

I went retro crazy in 2024. Really fun time to collect these with so many folks doing great work. Posting my list before I watch Kyle's. Honorable Mention - Power and Glory (ZST) - The first white shirt edition. Zombie's figs run a little small for me and it's hard to get the gear on and off these guys but strong likenesses of two guys who are underrepresented in the figure world. First ever Roma is a good get. 10. Duke 'The Dumpster' Droese (Hastell) - Nice sculpted detail, fun toyetic character, first ever Duke figure. 9. PN News Variant B (KWK) - The orange color pops on the shelf, cool accessories, lots of nice painted detail. 8. Men on a Mission Gold Variant Two Pack (Hastell) - Just two figures that make me smile, and some of the earliest retros I got this year, two that really brought me back to this scale. Love how Mitch just dropped these in stock on a Friday night, and also how they demonstrate his willingness to take constructive criticism and improve his product with the color change. 7. Max Moon (KWK) - super impressed with the details and colors on this, especially after the early prototype pictures were kinda janky. Really fun obscure character. 6. Demolition Blue Card Two Pack (Epic) - Awesome sculpts and likenesses, magnet gimmick works great. An imposing looking set. 5. One Man Gang (ZST) - Perfect likeness, nice detail, good size. Love the jean vest. Up there with 2023's Raven for me as one of ZST's very best. 4. Atushi Onita (Epic) - probably the simplest figure on my list but as a huge fan of the classic N64 wrestling games, it's wild to finally have a 'Puchteca' action figure. Really hope this helps open the floodgates for more Japanese legends appearing in Western figure lines. 3. The Rougeaus Two Pack (Hastell) - Probably my single biggest want, the single biggest omission from The Golden Era for decades now. Crazy that these guys never had figures and a huge feather in the Hastell cap that he got them out first. Capes are a nice touch and as everyone says, Hastell sticks the closest in spirit to Hasbro. 2. The Powers of Pain Two Pack (Epic) - Best figures either of these guys have ever had? Perfect likenesses, ornate bad-ass entrance gear that is easy to get on and off. Epic elevates the form with this and my #1. 1. DDP (Epic) - I wasn't even really looking forward to this one because I kinda like collecting guys that fit into the same era as the original Hasbros and DDP comes a bit later, but man. As with PoP, I think this is the best DDP figure ever, in any size. Extra arms work great with the magnets, you can do a variety of looks and poses, likeness is perfect. Can't wait to see what 2025 brings for this style of figure. Sorry for writing a book and kudos to Kyle for all the fun countdown vids! Happy New Year!

Love the list and I have most figures on that list, but a shout out has to go out to Zombie sailor for those Power and Glory figures, they were amazing. Also, I absolutely love Epic Toys and all their figures, they seem to be spot on and I can’t wait to see what 2025 has to offer. Also a huge shout out to Mitch over at grapplers and Gimmicks, they have released some classics this year and keep up the good work all of you !

Looking back to the old Hasbro set, as great as it was, they were kinda lacking in the tag team department. Yeah, we got all the first round draft picks like LOD, Demolition, Nasties, Rockers, Whackers, but as a kid I wish we got the those filler tag teams to really beef up the roster. Rougeaus, Powers Of Pain, Quebecers and not mentioned on this list, but Power And Glory. I would have grabbed all these 2 packs back in the day but since the Hasbro line kicked off in early 1990, you can see why the Rougeaus, and POP didn't get figures as they were already broken up. Power And Glory was doable. They could have been in that tag team assortment with Demolition, Rockers, Whackers. Just so we could have 2 baby face teams and 2 heel teams.

I really like the kayfabe figures. I wasn't able to get them. They are really expensive. Max Moon & Mantaur looked real good. Hasttel, Epic toys, Zombie Sailor are the best retro lines in my opinion. Mattel is the worst. 1. ZST One Man Gang. I put him at the top. 2. Epic Toys Powers of Pain. Those are solid as my 1 & 2 Epic toys DDP, Bobby Heenan, & Boris great picks. Hasttel toys Rougeau brother's definitely in the top 10. I agree with you about Hasttel being the closest to hasbro. I'm looking forward to getting the strike force.

I'd like to see a Max Moon Elite!!! Even better, a Paul Diamond (Max Moon) and Pat Tanaka as Badd Company Elites!!! In the purple gear and fishnet look down the sides. Hmm, now I am wondering if you could do a two in one with both dudes as The Orient Express? Moon would be a chase then maybe. I would almost say screw Max to have both the other teams!!!! Konnan can get his money on Max!
