I feel like the Mondo figures I have, have universal ball pegs for the hands. You should be able to pop a ball peg out of one hand and put it in another.

Love Mondo but they don't make it easy sometimes My gambit - scuffs scratches all over the legs & missing hands Sabertooth - melted glob of paint across the torso Rogue - hand snapped Cyclops - pins not connecting with the jacket parts They're customer service team is great but damn they need to fine tune and dial in these QC issues

I got their first BTAS Batman and Mr. Freeze, too many paint imperfections at the price point to continue the line and I see nothing has changed in the years since I got mine.

I'm glad I skipped out on this figure, a lot of issues, Mondo always takes care of their customers but I will say I'm just glad I'm mostly into villains. My taste paid off lol can't wait for Venom to arrive, seen a lot of people say there are no issues with that figure.

I've picked up some Mondo across the franchises, and I find the MOTU stuff seems to get the best budgeting, effort, and QC. Some of the BTAS stuff is good, but even the best aren't on par with the MOTU. One example: was really disappointed with the deluxe Phantasm torso swapping, the waist felt overly gappy for it. I'm not a completionist, but I think even then I'm just going to cherry pick MOTU because that seems to be where the real passion goes for the 1:6 line.

Having bought and expecting my first Mondo Batman Beyond, a review like this one, scares the heck outta me. I need to take every precaution with the figure. Although I've heard Mondo has really good cs. You should give them a try Kyle.

You definitely need to heat the joints (i.e. with a hairdryer) before moving them on a Mondo figure once you take it out of the box

I have two x men mondo figures (gambit and Rogue) and im honestly good. They're okay but the price is too much for what it is. I see the value more on their MOTU line to be honest.

Definitely contact mondo. They will send you a new body and hands as well. Agreed that the qc needs to better. They already released black suit spidey and venom and both of those qc wise has been much better. That said the ankles maybe a bit loose on black suit Spidey.

Mcfarlane sculpts the ankles. The balls are from early figures. They still release figures with the balls but the sculpted ankles are great. Earth-2 Robin comes to mind.

CS is very good from Mondo. My beast man had an error on the paint apps. They sent me a new head within a week after I emailed. I just received my new Faker and got two closed right fists and no magnetic Skeletor bat signals for his chest. Email sent. I’m sure it’ll be quick fix. I really love all my Mondo figures but mistakes will happen.

That's not even all the quality issues, I saw a reviewer who buys primarly hot toys who's webb effect was broken from the hand out of the package plus idk if you have this issue also but there's some kind of oil leakage from the joints, I assume too much shock oil was used.

This is an expensive fig not for everyone. Hasbro has the corner of the market so they don't really get an excuse for any issues. Spidermans with no toe articulating cmon other figures have it Spidey should Maybe a minor gripe maybe im type too much as well 🤷‍♂️

To be fair Hasbro does a lot of things that deserve to be criticized. The amount of accessories you get with black series is pathetic for what are $25 figures. You are lucky to even get a blaster. That said I think that is likely due to how much Hasbro has to pay for the license. Marvel legends you dont even get alternate hands at times. Like the no way home Spider-man didnt even have wall crawling hands or weblines. And the holland spiderman had really stiff joints and a lot of folks had theirs break. The adventure series line ended too soon and they missed a ton of characters. And then there is the recycling of accessories within the line. The cairo Indy was like $30 and came with less. Any line of mass produced figures is likely to have some issues. Hasbro absolutely has its hits though too. That recent carnage is fantastic.

​@@Spawn3X5i don't think every figure needs toe articulation though it is nice to have. Hasbro has its hits and misses. The no way home tom holland figure is very prone to breaking with stiff joints. Then they put out stuff like the deluxe doc ock and carnage. Legends isnt perfect but you get a heck of a lot more on average than black series where you sre lucky to even get a blaster. On top of black series being scaled small anyway with many figures not even hitting 6" yet they cost as much as a legends. But when you drop $100-300 on a mezco, mondo, hot toy...etc.. the greater the expectation that there wont be serious QC issues.

I only admire Mondo stuff from a far, but the quality issues on one of their top teir limited edition is beyond belief and very distressing. I'll remember this video if i ever do think about getting a Mondo figure.

Am the only one who hates "shading" on action figures? Shading is all dependant on "scene-specific" lighting, and if the shading is pre-painted, the figure just looks dirty and muddy. Or is it just me?
