I don't do drugs, but doing cocaine of Angela's back side does indeed scream 90s.

Love the spawn line. I still have all mine from back in the day. Ive also found several lately in flea markets and garage sales, still in package for a average of $7. Building up my variants that way.

I have a few old spawn characters still in package dating back to 2003. I have angela marvels guardians of the galaxy version loose because to me she's a spawn character and will always be a spawn character.

A brave Kyle, cracks the joints on this vintage, giant Angela action figure, in this great review video. It will be interesting to see if McFarlane releases a modern version of this Angela, as Disney Marvel Comics now owns the rights to the character?

I believe Neil Gaiman owned it before Disney as well. Could be wrong. I think She Spawn is the closest we'll get.

Marvel now owns Angela. The only way McFarlane Toys will produce a new Angela figure is if Marvel commissions them to do it, or if the former buys the license to produce such a figure, which would be incredibly ironic.

@@Steve_Vendetta Yeah. Won't happen. Todd and Marvel parted on bad terms. Even though they were bought out, I'm sure a lot of people stayed on. Neil Gaiman probably sold Angela to Marvel as a jab.

They're cool back in the day i absolutely would've picked them up. I had the smaller spawn figures i don't remember the giant line. my local stores must not of carried them. Because i would've bought 'em or had my mom buy 'em. But these days my opinion has changed because i want my collection to be to scale. I'm giving these giant sised ones a pass.

Her right ass-cheek appears a bit jaundiced. Regarding the ownership of Angela . . . As a result of a lawsuit in the mid-2000s, plaintiff Neil Gaiman - the character's creator (whereas Todd McFarlane designed her) - received all the rights to Angela, effectively ending defendant McFarlane Productions' use of and control over this intellectual property. Gaiman would solely decide her fate from that point onward . . . until almost a decade later. Around the same time as the civil action, Marvel acquired the publishing license for Marvelman (a superhero known as "Miracleman" in the American market), in whom Gaiman also had an ownership stake. Although Gaiman DID NOT create Marvelman, he did become the character's custodian and wrote the last "Miracleman" story arc before its publisher (Eclipse) ceased operations - which happened to be before the series could be properly concluded. Due to an agreement Gaiman had with both Eclipse and Marvelman's previous rights holder - former series author Alan Moore - Gaiman retained partial ownership of the character. This posed a legal obstacle to Marvel obtaining full control of Marvelman apart from just the production rights. Since Gaiman cared far more about this property than he did his own creation (Angela), he used the latter as leverage in brokering a deal with Marvel. Gaiman did not wish to abide another lengthy lawsuit with a media giant, so he offered Angela to Marvel in exchange for the remaining rights to Marvelman, which Marvel had hitherto managed to garner. Marvel accepted his offer. Marvel still owns Angela. It has exploited the character in various comic book series and in her very own title. At least one Angela figurine has been produced under Marvel's auspices. She might have been featured in other media, such as video games set in the Marvel Universe, as well. Gaiman has yet to do anything of significance with Marvelman/Miracleman, who now seems to be wallowing in Limbo.
