Great breakdown. Now that AZ solidified that interior line bringing in Hudson, and they boosted that WR corps bringing in a legit speed threat in a guy like Rondale Moore along w/ AJ Green allowing Kirk to stay in the slot where he belongs, I think we are going to see the biggest jump out of Murray year from YR 2 to YR 3.

If Murray can find some consistency watch out. Imo it's the one thing holding him back. I think the Cards staff realizes it which is why they are so run heavy

Uh what? They’re definitely not “run heavy”. If anything Kyler is putting up the most rushing yards..so. He’s definitely pretty consistent. Improves every week.

@@ares1469 u sir are dead wrong. They run more than any team in football. Versus Dallas he completed 9 passes. And hes far from "pretty consistent." So far this season he has 4 games where he's under 200yds passing & only 3 over 300. Have you really watched any Cards games?

@rnklv82814 жыл бұрын
He does look like a exciting player. I don't follow sports closely these days, but it's nice to know that the "short quarterback stigma" no longer applies in the NFL. I think he 's listed at 5'10"". Wouldn't NFL scouts in the past question his size, despite a successful colligate career? I think Doug Flutie did a stint in the CFL before getting a chance to play in the NFL.

For years as a Cards fan, it was impossible to find any in-depth analysis of their games anywhere. Even when they had very good teams like in 09, 10, 14 & 15. I realize both Kyler and this offense is now interesting to a national audience, but I appreciate the attention being paid to a smaller market, west coast team anyway. Thx for the videos JT!

Hey JT this is an unrelated question to this video. But I was curious where do you think Carson Wentz might end up? And do you think he can get back to the MVP level he played at during the 2017 season.
@DIVISIONINCISION4 жыл бұрын
Wentz has horrible mechanics and could not run Pederson's offense. He'll get a starting job somewhere else, but it probably won't be a great team. Maybe Chicago or somewhere like that.
@greggillings94544 жыл бұрын
@@DIVISIONINCISION he just needs to get his mechanics back to where he had them in 2017. A good QB coach and OC could reclaim his good talent. Maybe in SF with Shanahan.
@spiderwebb2224 жыл бұрын
Something that you often mention which I've wondered about, why do quarterbacks have to keep their off hand on their stomach in playaction? Is this also the case for handoffs in regular running plays? I get that it's to hide the fact that the ball isn't in that hand but, if you're running playaction anyway wouldn't you want them to see it's in the hand that's (supposedly) handing off? You did a great video on boot/naked concepts etc recently but I don't think you went into detail on the handoff mechanics specifically
