bad game despite the goal. He was always off tempo, not running in the spaces while his teammates were ready to launch him to the goal. And he has become really slow, when you watch Vini speed on this match there is no comparison

@@inf423 I know it s first game, but the issues I mention are not linked to lack of time to adapt. It is deeper. Mbappe is slower for at least 2 years now, because he is much heavier. In PSG and France team, it was already obvious. If he wants to be back to his best, he ll have to work a lot phisically, like Cristiano and Benzema did. But I doubt he s able to be training as consistantly as those 2. And it won't solve the other issue: Mbappe is NOT a number 9. His natural position is on the wings, where he can have space. But there is already Vini, so Madrid bought a player whose profile doesn t fit to what they actually need. They needed Haaland, not Mbappe.
