As long as a foundation has water as a first ingredient then its less likely to break you out. As an acne prone person I advise you to go high end when it comes to foundation, if you do your research you'll find that with many foundations you really are paying for quality!! High end foundations are RARELY duped by drugstore, and theres a reason for that. Not only did I have a random cystic outbreak, but I tend to be a picker, so my face has always been covered in hyperpigmentation spots and the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation is the best investment I've ever made (along with the beauty blender since I hated cleaning a brush so often and I can use the sponge right after I wash it), it covers everything, my friend saw my spotted face before I applied my foundation and she had a fit of amazement after she saw how flawless my face looked in my birthday photos! I've fallen asleep with it on multiple times and it has never broken me out, if anything I feel sometimes it helps my skin, I know its weird, but i'll clean off the foundation and notice that my skin looks better than before I applied the foundation! The $60 bottle has lasted me almost a year, its thick so a little goes a long way, its a great investment!! I bought it because I was desperate over my skin and everyone else was raving about it, and they were right to do so! On my good skin days I use the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer all over or to spot conceal, it blends in amazingly, and from a far your skin will look flawless! On my really really bad skin days I use this concealer over the foundations for max coverage! Just hoping I could help :)

becauseNIK its full coverage so its thick, so you have to be careful when u apply it because if you use too much it will look cakey, I think using a sponge really helps prevent that though. It can feel heavy but you'll forget about it as the day goes on, the coverage is totally worth it! I tried the MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation and it clogged my pores and made my skin worse, when I googled it I found I wasn't the only one with this issue and that when I learned water as a first ingredient means your pores wont clog, and guess what was the first ingredient in the MAC foundation... It wasn't water, it was a chemical! The foundation itself smells like chemicals, estee lauder smells like lotion. And also, when I visit the MAC store the girls that work there seem to always have bad skin and I wonder if its the MAC foundation. The Revlon Colorstay foundation is a cheaper dupe for the Studio Fix Fluid though if you're still interested! However the MAC Pro Long Wear concealer is supposedly amazing, a little covers a lot so people like to use it on spots, and it doesn't seem to be breaking anyone out! Haha I've thought about buying it myself actually! The MAC foundation always made my face feels dirty at the end of the day and it would dry out my dry spots even more, the Estee Lauder is much more comfortable in my opinion! You can always look up first impressions and reviews here on KZbin, I know itsjudytime has one on the Estee Lauder Double Wear :)

I have a couple ideas for makeup tutorials: I have always wanted to see you and Sam do each others make up in the style of yourself so Sam would look like your style and you would look like Sam style. I don't know if you ladies have ever done that. I also think it would be fun to do some more special effects makeup style videos. You guys did a beetle Beetlejuice and a Maleficent and they were both really awesome. I would love to see more! How about or somebody or Cruella De vil? Maybe some more of Disney Villains? I also know this seems like maybe not your style, but it would be really cool to see you do some old school video game characters. Like link from Zelda, or Princess Peach from Mario Brothers . I only say this because I really want to see you guys do those make ups of course they're down on KZbin by others, but you are seriously my favorite youtubers, and some of the best and I want to see how you would interpret these. Also Marla singer from Fight Club has amazing makeup and I would really love to see Sam do a new updated tutorial on that. Also, in Iron Man 3, Pepper Potts had some cool makeup and would make an awesome makeup tutorial. Especially when she gets the serum injected into her and she is glowing red underneath her skin. I would really love to see how you would interpret that. Also, I think it would be awesome if you ladies did " dueling " makeup tutorials. For instance, you could do Ursula versus Ariel, or van Gogh versus Picasso, or Kardashian sisters face off. I don't know if this makes sense, but something like that were you each do a makeup based on a theme or idea or even celebrities or fictional characters.

I am a 57 year old lady who has hooded eyes. The outer two thirds comes down and pushes my lashes downwards so that when I use the curling tongs I have to be quick to put mascara on before the top eye lid covers any liner that I am wearing. Shame about that. Can I beg you pretty please can you do a small series of tutorials aimed at ladies like me with hooded eyes??????

Hi Christine! I'd love to a see a tutorial for this too. I do my mom's makeup for special occasions and she has beautiful green eyes, but I don't know how to play them up since she also has a hooded shape. About the mascara: have you tried placing a card (like a business card, the ones made of cardboard or paper, not the plastified kind) between your lashes and your lids while applying mascara? Best mascara hack ever! I swear by this trick, you can coat the entire lash (base to tip) and forget about the masca making a mess on you lids. Give it a go :D

What product would you use if you have actual holes in your brows? I have a scar in one eyebrow and hair does not grow there. Many pencils can look harsh because I literally have to draw on the brow in that space

I have a scar on my eye brow from chicken pox when I was a kid, I personally love Tarte's "Amazonian clay brow mousse". If you live near a sephora or ulta you can definitely go in and try the product and take a sample home. Hope this helps.
