It’s 2023.. and I still remember this song clearly, every lyrics of it.. I even remember the video clip. It’s one of my dad’s favorite songs. My dad even bought the album. I found out the song was released in 1989, it means I was 8 years old at that time. And now after 32 years later, it brings back all the memories. I could even hear my dad singing to that song. I had a love/hate relationship with this song. Love it due to the pure nostalgia, hated it as it reminded me of the last song at the school disco here in the UK and I had to dance by myself as no girl wanted to dance with me! As a point, I made sure they played this as the first song of my wedding dance with my stunningly beautiful wife in 2018. 28 years of pain erased :)
