This has to be one of her ABSOLUTE BEST LIVE PERFORMANCES. Not one odd note, no ad lib mess ups, her tonal quality was gorgeous. You can really tell that she had learned her voice by then and put real work into it.

Having been a fan for years It's interesting to hear how she handles that performance compared to the Fever performance of Finer Feelings. Her confidence in this performance is way below the Fever show where she belts the ad-libs where if you notice here she opts for the lower notes in the ad-libs in the final choruses. She has come a long way since then and truly reached her potential as a live vocalist.

It's a shame that more PWL stuff wasn't remixed externally. This for example takes a brilliant song from them to another level

Until 1990 or thereabouts, PWL didn’t need external mixing… they *were* the external mixers and they were red hot too. Things started to go a bit awry from 1991, when both Matt Aitken and Pete Hammond left SAW/PWL. By 1992, Phil Harding & Ian Curnow had also left. So, the top talent had gone and the SW PWL sound became jaded. I still prefer the PWL version of this song, but what Brothers In Rhythm did with it was no less enjoyable.
