Oh wow ! I did not know that ! It does sound like his synthy-funk album 'I created disco' . Give it a listen if you don't know it. Anyway, Kylie always came out with good music, some of her songs are so beautiful I wanna cry ! And she is a personification of feminine grace. And Calvin did it all, even if I don't like all the genres he did (just preference), I respect him and am glad that he is on the scene. I like what he did with Love Regenerator, but I love that he also keeps the level of 'radio music ' consistently up - I avoid mainstream radio, but Calvin and Kylie keep the bar high !

This was recorded when Kylie was still recovering from breast cancer. I remember people accused her of using botox when in reality she was on steroids as part of her treatment, the side effects give you a puffed up swollen face and cause weight gain. When she went into remission after 5 years her face and weight went back to normal.
@seantravis33529 ай бұрын
Some people just don't get it. Instead of making accusations and assumptions maybe some research is needed and education is needed. I knew she had breast cancer and that she recorded this while in recovery. But from what I see and hear you just can't tell. Kylie looks and sounds amazing,the positivity and positive energy she puts out are... well words just fail to describe. Aamazing, fantastic are the best I can say. It doesn't feel anywhere good enough. But they'll have to do. So glad she is with us still and making great albums and great songs. Many of them have gotten me through some emotional times. This coming from a rocker.
@ciarakristos1118 ай бұрын
Kylie *has* used botox for many years though. Since the early 2000s. Botox doesn't cause a person's face to become swollen. It paralyses the facial muscles temporarily and leads to a smoother, slightly tighter and more 'rested'-looking facial appearance (if done well, in moderation). Pretty much every celebrity you can think of has had it done at this point.

@@elliotjohnson9415 CH's debut album and KM's came out in 2007, only 5 months apart. He wasn't famous back then and had written no hits for other singers. His breakthrough happened 5 years later. Hope that's concise and clear enough now.
@elliotjohnson94154 жыл бұрын
@@DXP322 He still had hits before In Your Arms released as a single, my point stands. His record label would have signed him before Kylie worked with him, hence others showing faith in him before Kylie. Stop trying to outsmart me. Okay, Kylie was the first star he wrote for, that I will concede.
@DXP3224 жыл бұрын
@@elliotjohnson9415 I'm not trying to argue or anything, and I get your point that CH had already a recording contract and KM did not discover him, but SuaveLlaveBlog is not that wrong at the end of the day. CH met KM before his singles were put out. He said in an interview he was so nervous when he met her he had to get himself drunk. And his 2 singles ended up being just moderate hits. His debut album sold 240,000 copies, not millions like his later work. When you say "he had written multiple hits for himself and other artists" you make it sound like he was already the CH we know today. Which I don't think is accurate.

I saw this album release tour, she's an amazing performer - her concert was just as stunningly visual, and her voice just as perfect live. I love this woman - she's had a few run ins with my family, as she flies a lot and always has, and my whole family have been in aviation a long time (101 years!). My grandmother once did her hair whilst looking after her in the VIP lounge, and my father had her sit in the cockpit of his plane before it was made illegal after 9/11. He said she talked a LOT, and that she was funny, bubbly and her personality was too big for her frame.

Kylie is such an underrated singer. Honestly... I know that we can see many artists out there, but she has been really doing a great work. I wouldn't consider myself a fan since I never actually listened to ALL of her songs. But she's so versatile. As a kid, I enjoyed Fever songs like CGYOOMH, Come into My World (love the video), In Your Eyes, Love At First Sight and then there was Chocolate, Slow (which I didn't like back then), Red Blooded Woman, and so and so forth. I really enjoy her stuff, and the Abbey Roads Session... MAN! I just wish if she had the same recognition as Madonna, cause she's really holding her own. I hope I'll get to see her live once.

My son was born August 2008. When he was 8 months old, I used to dance with him in my arms, holding on to one of his hands as I bopped him around and sang & danced to this song. He would smile as I moved his arm in time to the beat. Its a sweet memory I have of his childhood.
