I remember listening to the album when it came out and HATING it. In the last six years it’s become my most played album ever. Used to think it was nothing special but I think there is more substance here than one would expect, especially on first listen, and beauty in its simplicity. ❤️👄Mr. President, Beat of My Heart, and Skirt are great additional listens too

I think your comment about it being "safe" is a good call. The lack of cohesion makes it challenging as an album listen. I pick up tracks and add them to Kylie playlists, rather than listening to Kiss Me Once as a whole. The bonus track "Sleeping with the Enemy" is a great song. I'm also in the narrow camp that likes "I Was Gonna Cancel." That said, I do prefer this remix: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5ilqoeqn52aeMk. Also, "Mr. President" is a crazy listen and some random fun.

I always liked this album. One of my favorites from 2014. I even thought it was better than the over hyped Aphrodite. I like the eclecticism of it-- in that respect it reminds me of X (another one I love).

If you think this album is eclectic, you really should play those two bonus tracks. Sleeping with the enemy is stunning - a very massive attack vibe... And mr president is one of the most bonkers songs she has ever done. Both are highlights for me. I love if only, feels so good, sexercize and into the blue (although into the blue is surprisingly not so popular with fans in general, but i think its amazing). I appreciate you critiquing an album in its standard form, but if you never play any deluxe tracks again, you must listen to those two. Thanks for another great reaction 💙

Loved this album....though I couldn't understand why "les Sex "wasn't released......didn't like Beautifull and "Mr President"....but the rest was well produced, but due to Roc nation it lacked video-clips and propper promotion.

For me it’s not as bad as Body Language but it’s certainly down there as my 2nd least favourite. I do like the songs Into the blue, Kiss me once, Beautiful and Feels so good but that’s it BUT the two bonus tracks from the special edition should have definitely replaced a couple of the album tracks and this would have been a solid album.
