This is the album that really turned me into a huge Kylie fan I was in my teens when the album came out and it shaped my teenage years I loved every song every song is individual every song is catchy fun makes you wanna sing along and dance the only thing is I really wanted fever to be a single. I’ll never forget how sad I was that it was never a single as I really wanted it to have a music video as great as all the other music videos for the other singles off the album. WOW. Where do I even start? This album, Fever, really is your best work. A cohesive album with a clear image and sound. It's absolutely perfect! No skips! Funny how I fell in love with you through In Your Eyes. I didn't just follow you from that mega hit that everyone seems to know. Love Affair (personally) is the strongest non-single track of the bunch. This album had Indie Kylie and Dance Kylie working together exceptionally well! Can we talk about how Come Into My World has been cut down into a radio edit? Shame. Not many people know of the album version with the recognizable intro. Your image! Oh lord, photoshoots with Nick Knight, Vincent Peters, videos by Michel Gondry and Dawn Shadforth? You were visually progressive. The 2000s really had Kylie doing pop precision. What a time to be alive!

Fever is the album that made me aware of who Kylie was (I was 9). I specifically remember going on a vacation to Cancun with my family to a beach resort, the first time seeing the ocean, and at the pool in the day, a DJ was playing Can't You Outta My Head. The song was so catchy I had it stuck in my head for the whole vacation and wanted to know who made it. Then I got home, heard the song on the radio and saw the video on VH1 Top 20 Countdown, and my mom and I loved it, so she bought me the album and I was HOOKED. From then on, I became a mega-fan. Thank you Kylie for making this brilliant album. I even play Fever and Light Years over the PA system at work, and people seem to be in a better mood when I do.
