When i fill my tank full I always put a little bit of carb cleaner with. Keeps the carb and the valves clean.

Great video and great scooter! I would swap the carb but keep the stock airbox if I were you. I had a HELL of a problem when tuning mine (second one because I liked the first soo much) Apparently the filter fitted DIRECTLY on the carb is not a good idea because of the air turbulence. A longer tube and smooth curves help direct the airflow to the carb and is easier to tune. I would suggest keeping the stock airbox and opening up any restrictions with a dremel. I believe I’m running an 82 jet and a yellow DC cdi. Also a Malossi variator helps. Just some thoughts! Enjoy your scoot!!!

for your idle problem there is a screw you need to turn to increase idle rpm. you can find it on your carb where the gascable is connected to.

Believe it or not if you mix some Colman fuel with the fuel in the tank you won’t have carb issues like you got , I use it in mine and it’s the exact same one as yours and I use it in my lawnmower and my agility 125 that I have I believe if you take your original carb off of it and clean the idle jet you would be more satisfied with the original carb then the one you got on the bench , I’m guessing your idle jet is a 35 and your main jet is a 75 or a 78 , to get the screws on the float bowl are not standard Phillips head they are a….j I s Japan industry standard , just a heads up

Did you adjust your valves after 2000 miles it will go faster if you do them often
