Kynrem water fall, at Sohra.

Very recently, Sohra made records all over again for being the highest rainfall receiving area. Kynrem falls is a lesser know place to the rest of the world. During this season, it was in full bloom. Hope you enjoy the majestic, cascading water falls. But to be honest the video does little justice to the water falls, when seen in person.

No, it's only during the monsoon season, and this year Sohra received heavy rainfall after 1995, a new world record, making it again the heaviest rainfall receiving area.

Yes, it's very much safe to visit. There is no flood like situations here. But do check before going to Mawlynnong and Dawki as the roads are not in good shape due to rain.
