Ah yeah i never really thought about that. Maybe less so out of the corner?

Yeah it's pretty safe unless Kyo is close to the corner (in which case, say, you can easily punish with Iori's cl.C). But it might be better to just avoid using it since it gives Kyo no advantage afterwards at best. And he definitely doesn't need it for combos.

Add to that, the viability or even likelihood of using a EX move as a reversal in 14 xD It does do its job and I wanted to cover all the bases, but yeah I dont use it too often

Lul One of those XIV things. Let's see if 3.0 does a better job. PS: I think Athena has something like this, too. Her B Phoenix Arrow can be punished with a throw if I remembered correctly.

Yeah its -1 on hit i think. that shit happens without rigorous testing. The thing is if b arrow was 0 or better on hit, then it be at most -2 on block, considering how KOFXIV handles hit/blockstun, and that sounds pretty nasty. So idk, I guess it wasnt worth it enough to them to program a completely diff hit state for that move

4:28 i can't do run + dp (hcb+f) consistenly for the life of me, since the whole thing together is a completely new motion for me. Any advice?
