You know that this thermoswitch is there for a reason, right? It has to go off when something is wrong with fusing unit. Your device... in worse case scenario... whole house can be on fire when overheating takes place.

Please don't misguide people what you have done is very dangerous .You have shorted the thermofuse which has protected the machine from overheating due to a defective thermistor or some problem in heat control circuit. Now if overheating happens again there will be no protection to the machine and the fuser unit and plastics will melt.
