These kicks require tremendous technique and skill, to apply an effective kick from such a short distance. Kyokushin in my opinion is one of the strongest styles. Also, I notice the difference in behavior with MMA matches, in which the winner jumps around, bragging and goading in a way that is not appropriate to martial Arts. EXCELLENT!

Kyokushin is actually a combination of Shotokan and Goju Ryu, as creator Masutatsu Oyama trained in both styles. Kyokushin's "Northern Kata" comes from Shotokan, and its "Southern Kata" is from Goju Ryu.

Mas Oyama actually trained Taekkyeon first as a child and young teen. Later on he developed Kyokushin with those Karate styles you mentioned

Karate is a martial art that possesses effective arm and leg techniques That's why it is one of the best fighting styles on this planet

+Hồng Vân Khang Trương kyokushin karate was founded by Korean and he was learned taekwondo style martial art in Korea before he moved to Japan..original Karate mainly used hands..kara-te means empty hands....en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyokushin
@hongvankhangtruong96299 жыл бұрын
Man M I didn't say Kyokushin alone, I say Karate in general. It is believed that TKD has more kicks than Karate, but that doesn't mean Karate's kicks aren't effective. The name Karate means emty hand, yes. But it is to emphasize that this martial arts is used without weapons. People use weapons by hands so you can't name Karate something like "empty leg", right? We can see this style of name in many martial arts, always have the word "fist" but the pupils use their legs more than their fists. So stop judging a martial arts by its name, it's pointless. I haven't seen any TKD martial artists tried to kick his rival's legs in a match. In the contrast, Karate fighters (Kyokushin, Shotokan, etc) usually kick their rivals' legs for many reasons, such as damaging or opening a dinamic attack. And that kind of kicking works as effective as those high kicks.
@manm8519 жыл бұрын
Hồng Vân Khang Trương don't get me wrong ..i m not judging any martial art in here.. every martial art have its own main technics..in case of karate..they r using hands more than legs.. anda..ofcourse there r many technics for lkicking egs in taekwondo.. but they don't give point for that in match..( u have to hit head and body part for point ). but in these days..most of people agreed brazillian "jiu jitsu" is best martial art for many ways.
@hongvankhangtruong96299 жыл бұрын
Man M I have a question: why don't TKD guys attack the leg to make their rivals lose their balance, and then kick in the heads? Is it illegal or it can't give them points? Because in Karate tournaments, kick in the leg doesn't give point, it's the punch or kick in the body or head after that gives them points.
@manm8519 жыл бұрын
Hồng Vân Khang Trương match is game..refree probably want to know what kind of skill they r performing.... and that is the rule...no point on legs...I don; know why. In real fight ..I saw TKD people were kicking the other's legs and it was very effective... when u watch "full contact karate"..u can thinik kicking skills r same like TKD...Full contact Karate is a just fighting like UFC.. "Do" means in Taekwon Do or "Dang su DO".." the way"...not just fighting...it is kind of discipline or rules in life... I m not saying TKD is good or bad..I try to tell u that is how it is..

Another reason why punches to face aren't allowed is that many countries don't allow bare knuckle strikes to the face. So you either not punch face and keep it bareknuckle as Mas Oyama intended., or put on gloves and move into kickboxing (a lot of karateka do that, K1 for example). Kyokushin and it's spinoffs have a saying (I practice Seido, there's Ashihara and Enshin too) 'train realistically, compete safely.' So karateka do know to defend/attack face, they just can't do it in kumite/comp

@midosi he's one of the best fighters.. and kyokushin karate is also known as probably the strongest form of karate. but obviously that depends on the practitioners. just look at k-1 competition, kyokushin has dominated many times. they train their body to take hits + those weren't low level its really difficult to perform those hits in a close combat. anyway theres always advantages and disadvantages in every martial arts. & i believe shotokan is really fast while kyokushin is hard&heavy.

Go up to any Karate student and tell us that our style is unrealistic. Look up Mas Oyama, he created Kyukushin. He killed bulls with his bare hands in fights. Karate is the most underrated style of martial arts. Look at Lyoto Machida, look at how him and his Karate are fucking up everyone in the UFC. Finally Karate is making a comeback.
@Angel7black16 жыл бұрын
Kyokushin used to back in the glory days when Kyokushin looked more like Karate and less like wild swinging kinder gardener's who learned how to punch and kick. back in those days it wasn't uncommon for a guy walking around the dojo picking teeth off the ground. that was when Oyama demanded excellence, it was really "go big, or go home"

i dont want any controversial stuff but lets say it , im a kyokushin practitioner from my past 2 years and im blue belt kyokushin has tought me that full contatc has benefits , create a hard body resistant to blows and kicks on the head but no punches to the face , we have certain rules such as taekwondo , judo and boxing wich make US practitioners vulnerable in some parts of in the fighting sistem we , the ones who have been kicked in the face , punched in the ribs , the boxers who had hard blows blows on their heads , the grappler who had been kod by punches , the taekwondo guy who got submitted . WE all know our capabilities in our martial art . even the normal mma guy is not invencible , MARTIAL ARTS ARE NOT TO BE CRITICIZE ITS ABOUT HOW HARD YOU WORKED ON YOUR TEACHINGS OF FIGHTING MENTALLY AND PHISICALLY ON FIGHTING

Pummel the body since your going for the stamina of the opponent, don`t hit the head in kumite since you follow the rules of it and the main ideea of kyoukushin is discipline. But you can always look for the cage fights were they turn it into a showcase of animals instead of watching a fight between two respectfull oponents with beautifull moves. I would suggest you to watch the training for it and maybe you`ll feel a little bit surprised about it since it is one of the most fierced ones. Osu!
