Just finished my chassis and electronics today. Will tackle the body in a week or so. I like the tip on using the brown teflon tape. Great idea.

I haven't tried clocking it. But it's pretty fast. Then again it depends what types of motor you wish to put it in. Brushless vs Brush....& also Number of T - (turns) from each individual motor..

@@divisionbreak I was going to buy one and I did not know I have to buy my own motor. Do I need to buy Esc and servos too? Also could I buy parts to run on 2s lipo?

Believe me I was like you back in 2020. It's been 30 over years since I have a RC car again. And I was totally lost where and how and what to begin with. Totally clueless about what I need to get for the car. But I bought the car first and started fixing it and worry the electronic components later. Yes you will need: 1. Motor. (Kyosho 480T or...etc) 2. Servo (Steering). [Sanwa SXR PGS-HR] 3. ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) [Kyosho 240S.] 4. Sensor Cable for the Motor to the Esc. (ROUTE 246 R246-8581) 5. Battery (2S LiPo). 6. Battery Charger. [Gen ace IMARS III Pro Balance Charger] 7. Controller (Cheap one like a FlySky GT5 will do). 8. Controller Receiver (If you buy a FlySky GT5 you will need to pair with a FlySky FS-BS6 Receiver).

That white stripes clear tapes are provided from Kyosho itself inside the box kit. They work & look great for awhile. After 20-30 times slotting in and out the batt the tape starts to deteriorate and tear. You should try velcro battery straps. ne vous inquiétez pas, c'est particulièrement bon pour le premier démarrage afin que la graisse puisse pénétrer dans le matériau... elle sera nettoyée plus tard après un premier rodage. Je n'applique plus du tout de graisse maintenant : )
