The legendary Kyosho Tomahawk Vs. The mighty Tamiya DT03 Neo Fighter. This will be close!
Three stages each with three laps on ad hoc stages -The fastest overall time over the three stages .....wins!
For anyone who cares i’ve added a league table to keep track of results .
Points awarded thus :
1st place - 9pts
2nd place - 4pts
3rd place - 1pt ( if applicable)
Please note - These races are by no means definitive.
Both are running in Tamiya Torque Tuned motors

I would say the longer wheel base of the Tamiya just gave it the edge, more stable in turns and less twitchy, but for a 40 year old design the tomahawk is one of my favourites. Nice video mate. 😊

Great stuff Dom. The DT03 is such a great entry chassis but really goes well and is totally underrated. Tomahawk looks great though 😁

Not guna lie mate, I didn't see that coming!! I thought the Tomahawk would wipe the floor with the DT03! Well done Tamiya! I guess the DT03 is a lot newer design than the Tomahawk..... although it was certainly close. If I could own either, I would still take the Kyosho without a shadow of a doubt! Very close competition there Dom! I was thinking the Tomahawk would pull off the win but the Neo Fighter just seemed to be a smoother out there and just nudged it out! Great job with both of them and it is fun to watch when they are so evenly matched like this!

Hey great stuff Dom. So the cheapy DT-03 wins out over the Kyosho. I'd still go for the Tomahawk if I had to chose one but I think the Tamiya is better at being beaten around too. Nice vid mate 👍👍
