STORY
The once bustling city was now a shadow of its former self, as the rain poured down, the streets were illuminated by the eerie glow of red neon signs, casting a harsh and somber light on the desolate surroundings.
The once beautiful city of Kyoto was now a bleak and desolate place, where hope seemed to have been washed away with the constant rain.
In the distance I could hear the faint sound of music coming from the bars and clubs that still managed to thrive in this dark world, but I know better than to seek solace in those places.
The rain seemed to be never-ending, a constant reminder of the melancholy of this broken world.
I caught sight of a familiar sight - a statue of a once great samurai, now worn down and forgotten. It was a symbol of the city's past glory, a reminder of what was lost.
I couldn't help but stop and stare at the statue, lost in my thought, it was then that I heard a soft voice behind me.
'Excuse me, are you okay?'
Startled, I turned to see a young girl standing there, her eyes filled with concern, she held out a small umbrella,
'I saw you walking in the rain, and I thought you might need this,' she said with a gentle smile.
Touched by the girl's kindness, I accepted the umbrella and thanked her, maybe there was still some hope left in this world.
