Kyoto Architect & Contractors walkthrough of the Kyo-machiya BEFORE renovation - Part 2

PART II of the Kamogawa machiya renovation. A viewer who watched my videos ended up buying a Kyo-machiya very close to Kamogawa river! It took some time before the design plan & quotation were finalized but finally the renovation will start. In this video, the architect & contractors (Koumuten) will be talking a bit about the design plan and how this machiya is going to be fixed.

Where are you at I've been trying to see your videos and it's hard to find them I didn't undescribe to you I'm still with you I need for you to continue because October 11th is very near and I'm getting ready to come to Kyoto and I I really really want to find me a historic old house to read remodel we do like it was in the old days so continue help us there's not only myself but there's many people who are interested in to come to Japan to the history of Kyoto and the houses to find one to reveal and retire so keep up the good work and don't abandon us

It is excellent to see the architects drawings. And hear his knowledge of structure. So farI have found the bathroom to be in an awkward position taking up the centre of the garden, and felt thatshouldbe kitchen dining pavilion . it willbeinteresting to see how the garden is integrated.

Yes a kitchen dining pavilion by the garden would be really nice too...lots of things can be done when the house is big enough & the pocket deep enough ;)
