Also wanted to wear Kimono to Fushimi Inari, but heard it would be difficult to climb all the stairs. Would you recommend it?

I agree to an extent! 😅💕 I’ve been wearing uncomfortable shoes/ heels my whole life and even then, I found it quite uncomfortable to maneuver the many stairs in the traditional slippers that comes with the set as they are meant to be 1/2 size too small for you.

hey! ill be renting a kimono in the winter but im really worried my feet will be cold wearing those sandals?? was it okay for you?

Hi there I’m also terrible with the cold myself! But in my personal experience, the kimono that you’ll be provided during winter time is meant for the winter cold, and it kept my body warm which resulted in my legs not being cold. (My hands were cold though! 🥶❄️)
