KYOTO JAPAN　撮影2014年4月　京都観光での枝垂桜の名所である半木の道、平安神宮、京都府立植物園、 原谷苑を紹介。山大橋と北大路橋の間を約800mにわたって続く八重紅枝垂のアーチの道が続くのが「半木の道」。さらに紅枝垂をはじめ300本も咲き誇るのが「平安神宮」。意外な穴場が「京都府立植物園」。園内には約200本の枝垂れ桜、ソメイヨシが咲き誇る。さらに、衣笠山の裏手にある個人所有の桜園「原谷苑」は、200本を超える紅枝垂が空から降り注ぐ。まさに京都でしか味わえない枝垂桜の醍醐味が堪能できる。
