I know you couldn't miss Kibune once you came to Kurama, they just like a twins aren't they? I went there in summer and very impressed with Kibune: the summer leaves have a gentle beauty and seem to make the summer there much cooler. I took my grand daughter to Kibune and we enjoyed nagashi somen after sightseeing and it was a great memory, now your video makes me think of visiting Kyoto in autumn! Thank you for your hard work!

Thank you for your comment! Since the visiting hours for Kurama-dera start from 9 AM, I believe the hiking course from Kibune to Kurama will also be closed around 7 AM... If you only have time around 7 AM, I recommend the following course! - Enjoy the autumn leaves on the Philosopher’s Path for 1 hour starting from 7 AM - Then head to Nanzen-ji Temple (a 10-minute walk from the Philosopher’s Path) and enjoy the autumn leaves for 1 hour - After that, enjoy the autumn leaves at Eikan-do Temple (a 5-minute walk from Nanzen-ji) - Finally, take a break at Café Mumonkan That's it! If you're exploring the main sights, like the Kibune Shrine and some of the nearby temples, the walk is about 2-3 kilometers in total.
