The area around Kibune(貴船) in northern Kyoto is also beautiful in summer and autumn.

I’d never heard of the philosopher’s path until you showed it in your video, great find! So tranquil and the nature there is beautiful where it’s intertwining into human-built things! Also did you notice the blue building next to Sango coffee shop? It’s so different to everything else in the area it really stuck out to me, I wonder what its history is like…? 😊 Thank you for another charming and peaceful vlog Milo, glad you enjoyed your time in Kyoto! 🥞🥞🥞

I was very intrigued by the name when I saw it on Google Maps - I wanted to see it with my own eyes! 😅 I did notice the blue building... I actually drew it!! 😂 I'll show it in the next vlogs ☺️ Thank you for watching until the end! ❤️ 🥞

I like your positive mindset, if I walked 30 mins just to get to my destination and find it closed, oh boy, I don't think I would have taken it so zen-like LOL But indeed the universe wanted you to visit the other place, it was so amazing, I loved it!!! And Gion at night is so mesmerizing! Also, I love the way you film, everything is so dream like 💖

haha INDEED 😂 i remember being kinda pissed at that time (moreover because I messaged the closed café on Instagram and they answered right away that they were open... but I guess the employee of the day didn't show up as planned 😅) BUT THEN when I found the other café, I knew it... It was meant to be 🥰 Gion at night is magical! ✨✨🥺

Once again, well done on getting to a site very early, SOM, before the Kyoto tourist "hordes" got there ( _so_ beautiful and serene...) The Philosopher's Path is 10 times more enjoyable like that, and thanks to your effort *we* also get to enjoy it that way, so 🙇♂ (i think pretty much every person that gets to see it probably has the same thought, right?: _"man... I would LOVE to have a place around here..."_ ) Beautiful atmosphere, one of those Japanese summer days when if feels like there could be a storm just around the corner. Love that light. Always a little sad to say sayonara to Kyoto, though. 🙏

So sorry for the delayed answer, I just saw your comment 🙈 Oh, do you think the Philosophy Path is busy later in the day? It felt so peaceful, I had a hard time imagining it could be crowded 😅 I am glad you enjoyed the morning quietness with me 😌 Agree, I just posted my last Kyoto vlog today... feeling sad but happy I could experience the beauty of this city... ❤️

Wow, the streets of Kyoto without people are fantastic and beautiful. It's like a dream. Were there not many tourists last September? At present, Kyoto seems to be in a difficult situation because it is crowded with so many tourists.😓
@storiesofmilo7 ай бұрын
These streets were not touristic ones, that's why I believe they were empty! ☺️ Often, you will find that just 2 minutes away from the hot touristic spots, you will find places just as beautiful but not THE touristic place... I really recommend to wander around these streets ☺️ Otherwise, I do agree... All the hot spots are over crowded! I recommend to watch my first Kyoto vlogs, I show the touristic streets at 7AM in the morning... it's magical because all empty!
🥞❤ so wholesome again thank you! I strangely felt a sense of missing too when you wrote it was your last night in Kyoto. I guess i will miss seeing Kyoto through your eyes!:) On another note; can you maybe elobarate a little bit on your art? Its so beautiful and im so curious about what your art journey has been like

Thank you for watching until the end! 🥺❤️ You're too kind!! I am so glad you're enjoying seeing my travels. Ooh, maybe I'll do a dedicated vlog about drawing/painting? I've always like drawing/being creative as a child but growing up I felt like I had to "get serious" and stopped most of my creative hobbies 🥺 I rekindled with it in 2022 when I began traveling again... I wanted to imortalize the beauty I was seeing and drawing/painting felt very appropriate ☺️

@@storiesofmilo its so sad that we learn to deprioritize anything thats 'just' fun and creative when we grow up. I love that capturing the beauty of your travels was why you picked it up again:) i would def be interested in a dedicated video about it!

Hello, milo-San. What did milo-San imagine on the path of philosophy?🎓 Change the sightseeing times and even take off the walking path! I can see what milo-San is thinking by looking at milo-San's blog. Everything is in pursuit of calculated perfection over time. I like simple pancakes. 🥞☕The Yakiniku restaurant looks delicious too.
