In this episode we first spend a few quiet days in Kyrgyzstan (18-23 September 2019) around Pik Lenin and Sary Tash before subsequently driving through China - more precisely through the province of Xinjiang - with six other overlanders. As if you want to drive in China with your own vehicle you need an authorised guide and therefore it makes sense to save some money by joining or forming a group with other travellers (if you're interested in details, you can check the article on our blog).
We enter China via the Irkeshtam pass, stay two nights in Kashgar and then move on to Tashkurgan. After another night we eventually leave China via the Khunjerab pass - the highest border in the world at 4,693m elevation - and explore Pakistan (next episode). Enjoy watching!
