So i assure you it’s not the same situation in the slightest. And yeah he bet on him self and that’s the key world HIM SELF bc he was being selfish to his team. And as a result they were the only team to get slept. And what angst? The Nets were not ready for the Celtics plain simple. This Celtics squad at full strength is the ultimate mismatch for them if they don’t have that wing defender Simmons. Last year when Harden went down against the Bucks they looked really good until Giannis got underneath Kyrie in game 4. With Joe Harris and Simmons (if he maybe decides to play basketball at some point) they got a championship squad and it will ultimately come down to health.

But, when I saw how hard he played when he WAS available on a part-time basis and truly understood his cause, I gained a lot of respect for him. Kyrie, Your post-Round one podcast interview I just watched is perhaps the single, most eloquent, most poignant post-Round one interview in the history of the game. Even after you were swept in 4, with your hands on your hips standing in the corner, not moving off the ball, not fouling at the end of Game 4, despite all the potty-mouth names Boston fans shouted at you, you still have the focus and superstar mentality to give interviews like this. Man, after your NBA career you may want to consider a career in giving interviews. You’re one of the best interviewees in the history of the game, bro. Bro, how true you’ve been “as open as you could be”, let’s face it, who’s more open than you, Kyrie? And you’re right, bro, “It’s hard to be transparent in this space” with “everyone holding onto every single word” you say. The way you just lay out the difficulty you’ve been through, bro, you’re a role model, bro, straight-up, at the highest level. Parents need to point to you as man to emulate and admire, for sure. With that said, bro, how true it is that you need to “keep things close to your chest”, Kyrie. Man, people don’t understand you. And man, how true that you’re definitely “letting the world down”, for sure. How horrible that “the letdown feeling seeped in” and how it “caught you off guard” during the season. I didn’t see it coming either, Kyrie. Man, how horribly misunderstood you are. When are the fans and media going to come around and figure it out, bro? You’re just doing your thing, bro. Man, the “judgement” people have on you, how misplaced, all the energy people bring your way. “Stay firm”, Kyrie. People “labeling” you as a “conspiracy theory”, man, how whacked is that!? You “are human”, Kyrie, don’t forget it, and more importantly, don’t let the fans and the media and the world forget it. You deserve “respect”, word up. Man, the way people “spun” the situation, how crazy is that? Stay with the thought that the NBA lifestyle is a “journey to enjoy”. Play a game once a week, take some breaks off from the regular season, bro, and come in and put up 60. You’re the best at it, best in the game. You don’t need to be accountable to your team or your teammates or the fans, bro. Kyrie first, remember that. The shout-out to Cleveland, man, you’re a class act, Kyrie. How you overcame the adversity in Cleveland and how deep you had to dig to put out your high level of play going against the best in the league. You’re smart not to name any names of any of your coaches or teammates, bro, because it’s all about you Kyrie, don’t you forget it. Be an assassin out on the floor, Kyrie. Good luck on your workouts this summer and keep the interviews coming. Basketball is just a game anyways. And the chances of you catching Covid? Forget about it, Kyrie. Go out and hoop. (This post has been an attempt at satire and humor, Kyrie. You be you, bro. Don’t go changing.)

I love Kyrie and his game.. but his part-time play spilled over to going into the playoffs. His body and mind was used to playing a game then having days off, so when he came back to fulltime it lead to extremely inconsistent play on the court- score 40..50 one game then drop off the cliff. Hopefully him KD and Ben get on the court this summer and build chemistry. This is what Brooklyn has always lacked even when Harden was there. Unfortunately Steve Nash's lack of coaching experience exacerbates all of Brooklyn flaws 🤷🏾♂️

Listening to this interview... hate him or love him, I feel like people hate on Kyrie for the sake of hating. tbh honest I don't see anything wrong with what e said but still there are so much hate, it's ridiculous.
@VonJay2 жыл бұрын
I mean, we live in a world where people can only think in terms of love and hate. That any type of feedback that doesn't keep you in high regard is interpreted as hateful. There aren't things like nuance, or nitty details, or emotions outside of hate, or even taking responsibility for how people respond to you. Having said that, I don't think people correcting kyrie on simple things like flat earth, on why it's wrong to basically say that they don't need a coach after the nets hired Steve Nash, and kyrie's extremely impressionistic speech patterns on his Instagram live has anything to do with hate. I don't see how, if kyrie claimed that clouds were made of whip cream, and people corrected him and even provided evidence of why it's not, and get frustrated when he's clearly ignorant of facts has anything to do with hate. Probably has something to do with people not wanting to be gaslighted by a celebrity.

Kyrie: Well the perception of the sky is blue but in my research of life & after talking to many scientists & meteorologist, I've come to the conclusion that through my synopsis that it can be any color you want it to be. For me personally sometimes the sky doesn't exist, it's just a perception. I mean what really is the sky? Where does it start, where does it end? Are we counting space as apart of the sky. Space life matters too right? What are we talking about here? Interviewer: Just answer the damn question bro🤦🏽♂️

I can tell you are a bad listener and lack critical thinking skills, and communication skills, the way criticize his answers shows your lack of professionalism. During an interview you're not supposed to answer a question with one phrase you are supposed to elaborate on your answer and give a deep answer, practically all players do this, it's not only kyrie who answers in that manner, if you don't like him and don't like the way he answers, simply don't listen.
