There's a reason why Kyrie Irving was the floor general and the MVP at the last FIBA tournament. No other player in the NBA has his skill, craftiness, composure, intelligence, maturity and potential. Soon to be the most popular hashtags around: #MoreSkilledMoreComposedAndCraftierThanCurry #StillMorePotentialThanCurry #BetterThanCurry #NotAProductOfAGimmickySystemLikeCurryMostDefinitelyIs

Before he got lebron he couldn't even make the playoffs
@kmcrater9 жыл бұрын
+Dalen Davis That's because he didn't have a team around him that could win. When Lebron returned to the Cavs, they were shit as well, and then they made trades that brought them to the finals. It takes a team to win and get to the playoffs, and not a team in a rebuilding phase, lead by practically a rookie. People like to forget that Curry is almost thirty and Kyrie is on the opposite end of his twenties with his whole career ahead of him. Lebron came back to Cleveland to play with Kyrie. Had Kyrie not been there he likely would have stayed in Miami with Wade. But fantastic job pointing out very obvious things. Curry wasn't relevant until a team built a shooting squad around him and gave him an unlimited green-light to shoot threes at will. So he practices threes all day so that he's really good at SOMETHING. Compare Curry to any decent well rounded player and he comes up shy. Kyrie is just starting to get good and plays with a level of genius that anyone who knows the game of basketball recognize. Lebron needs no introduction from anyone. To point out Kyrie's lack of success on the Cavs before Lebron is to point out that the Cavs were in a rebuilding phase. Don't forget Kyrie was the first one to sign a large contract on the Cavs, which drew Lebron and company to the Cavs because they see his talent and capabilities. Not to take a thing away from Lebron because he's obviously the best player in the world because after all the major elements on his team fell at the hands of freak injuries in the playoffs (and first game of the finals) Lebron came close to winning the finals alone. Unfortunately the Cavs have an authentic and traditional line up for an NBA team, while the Warriors are skating by on a shooting-system that won't last very long. The Warriors may as well be playing a different game than the majority of the NBA. Their entire strategy is designed to avoid playing confrontational basketball, which is why when the cavs did go to the finals with the Warriors, it was IGUODALA who got the MVP and not Curry because Dellavedova (our bench guy) shut Curry down defensively and wouldn't let him take wide open threes, completely debilitating the Warriors system of scoring. So they played even smaller and exploited our injuries to win. A cheap victory for a team that can't go one on one with decent players. They exploit the weakness on a team and continuously use shooters to hit threes over and over. Whereas good players can drive, pass, shoot, and post up to score, not just run around and shoot over and over again until your team, which is low on players due to injuries, gets too tired from lack of proper rotation to keep up. But again, thanks for pointing out a very limited and meaningless fact.
