Tied at 8 minutes 92-92, Great Boston hustle defense: Durant loose ball turnover, Irving loose ball turnover, Tatum blocks Durant jump shot, Durant misses 18 footer, Irving misses driving layup, Irving misses jumper, Durant mises jumper, Durant misses 3-pointer. . .Celtics up 108-96 with 2 minutes left. Great defense: Durant shoots 4-17, Irving shoots 4-13

This is the difference between Bron & KD. The game looks different when you get to play 1-on-1 every time up the court because you have the two greatest shooters ever on your team. The spacing in GS was like none other.

Yep. And it’s hilarious that KD has said they need that level of ball movement and spacing for the nets. When he LEFT that in GS lol. Now he def is regretting his choices but hey he has his own team w a coach that doesn’t coach so he got what he wanted

Yup! Bron can drive to the basket, doesn’t matter who’s guarding him. He’s just that strong. KD, even if he’s a great shooter and has the length advantage, he’s not physically strong. He def needs that spacing he got in GSW.

@Comics Lamar, you are on point. The keyword is *hero ball* as you said. They were winning in the first half because others were scoring. Kd comes second half and wanted to get his, and they lost. If shots are not falling, and you are being guarded, double teamed, pass the ball, but nope. He wants to be the hero. (Russ, KD, Harden) at least *Harden is learning in Philly*.

But the majority of Celtics players have years together, Tatum Brown Smart and even Grant Williams is in his 3rd year. Pritchard in his 2nd year, Theis and Horford left and came back but they each went on deep runs with Tatum Brown and Smart. Derrick White is the only rotation guy who is new to the rest of the team and even he played for Pop who Udoka coached with so there is done understanding there.

No I watch money basketball in the 90s I’m tired of this whole in the 90s thing no the scoring is better because the scores are better these days it’s true that Boston’s defense was able to lock up Kevin Durand for a couple days but I think Kevin Durant would’ve done just as well in the 90s if not better than he is now for the simple fact that there are more people of his size now that could potentially guard him if he showed up in the 90s it would take a long time for the league to even figure out that someone that tall could consistently make the shots he makes there were no seven footers that could make outside shots consistently in the 90s not until Dirk and it was at the very end of the 90s now there’s embid there’s Durant , brook lopez there’s Kevin love Who is not 7 feet tall but he’s a big guy there’s Porziņģis. Big guys have more range and capability everybody has more range and capability there’s more offensive talent that makes it harder on the defense. The reason that the Celtics defense could lock down the way it did even though they have a very good defense is because the nets have a two-man offense and everybody knows it there’s basically no ball movement so you swarm Kyrie or Kevin depending on who has the ball ironically that’s also why the defense resembles the 90s because in the 90s most teams were constructed search that only a guy or two really scored think of the classic bulls

KD and Kyrie are very very talented players with not enough leadership, grit and the intangibles and it's been like that for their whole career so far that's just the reality. But Broussard is absolutely right about that cliche that a series doesn't begin until somebody wins on the other teams floor. But at the same time, the Nets were winning this game for the most part and the end result was a lost, so my point is there is still some positive the Nets can take from that game for sure.
